I like the way you edited this film, and the way you blended scenes from the movie with current, live recorded shots. Nice work! It's really strange how things change over the years. Those neighborhoods look a lot cleaner and newer than they did when Halloween was made in 1978. I must compliment the state of California for dotting the "i"s and crossing the "t"s.

At 11:01 I loved that the owner of the house where Jamie had a rest while holding a pumpkin, has loaner pumpkins for photo opportunities. Pretty cool. Enjoyed this video of seeing the movie and real locations at the same time. Thumbs up for that!

Hey this was excellent! I like the way you'd stop on a scene in the movie, then the people would fade out and it'd be what it looked like when you filmed this. Thanks for posting this!!

Always cool to go down to the locations in South Pasadena, and Hollywood to see all the Halloween haunts of "Halloween." "Halloween I" is my favorite scary, suspenseful movie of all time. And it never gets old. Still watch it every year around this time. The South Pasadena locations (a suburb of Los Angeles) are literally minutes from my old house, which I still visit, in Pasadena. Really nice work, Herve!

John Carpenter makes it sound so easy to make a movie! Yes, u can easily use a friends house; maybe even ur friends for a film, but overall, the finished product won't sit right because ur friends, location, uniforms, etc., won't be readily available, or fit the profile (i.e., race, age, # of gender needed). Plus, u need permits, get all ur talent to fill a set schedule with little or no pay (and so far, all talent I call upon requests to get paid; even when they have NO experience whatsoever)!

Herve Attia, you really do indeed know the film 🎥 & movie locations like no other!! You can see 👀 the attention to detail that you strive & do put into your work. Especially liked 👍 the one ☝ you done on 'Dirty Harry ', the "1971 movie (the first in the Dirty Harry series of movies). All of your work is top notch & it's cool to see 👀 for myself just how much some of the locations have changed over the years!! 😏😷 While in some cases, the locations look just the same. You're a cool 😎 dude Herve, & I commend you on your work & the effort that you put in isn't lost on US, the real fan's of these movies!! 😏😷 Keep up the great 👍 work Mr. Attia. Fantastic job you've done, yet again. All the best to you sir, & stay safe 😷 during this pandemic. Cheerio 👊✨💯

Wow, great job on this video! It must of been a great deal of work researching for these locations. How where you able to film inside the Myers house? I visited the filming locations for "I Know What You Did Last Summer," which took place in the very real waterfront town of South Port, NC. I also went to the filming loc. of "My Bloody Valentine 3D," that was shot in and around the Pitts., PA area. The coal mine and the motel with the actual heart shaped hot tubs was the highlight of that trip.
@buzzcrushtrendkill6 жыл бұрын
Great video. Love the dissolve shots. I've always wanted to know where they filmed 1) Laurie looking down from her window and seeing the Shape by the clothes line. 2) Where the Shape was shot and fell from the Doyle house. It was not the front of the house like H2 reshot it, it was a totally different balcony. And would have been to the side of the house. Anyways, I can't find any info about those locations.
