Your feelings on Halloween Kills are EXACTLY how I feel. I LOVE Jason...and Michael looks amazing in this movie....but they mixed the two and it makes me enjoy Michael less. I don't want to watch Halloween and think "Michael is being such a badass!" I want to be scared of Michael and making him front and center takes away from the fear factor. Great video!

Today it’s this 👇 13-Ends 12-Resurrection 11-Kills 10-Halloween 3 9-Rob Zombie’s Halloween theatrical cut 8-Rob Zombie’s Halloween 2 director’s cut 7-Halloween 2 6-Halloween 5 5-H20 4-Curse Theatrical Cut 3-2018 2-Halloween 1978 1-Halloween 4 I grew up on the thorn trilogy and Halloween 4 was my first horror experience. Huge nostalgia for 4-6.

The reason I like the theatrical cut of curse is because it's like they knew the story wasn't great so they threw it away and let myers just break free from the cult and do his thing. Sure the producers cut makes more sense but it's just more of a garbage story I wasn't interested in. Plus that electric guitar in theatrical cut is great and adds a lot of intensity to the scenes.

I love Halloween/horror ranking and retrospective videos, but I really did not enjoy this one. At first I wasn't going to say anything because I really don't feel the need to contribute negativity to someone else's creativity. Especially when it's something subjective. But the whole "I like Cory because he can do things Michael can't...like he uses a torch because he's a mechanic" (I'm paraphrasing what you said there). In the SAME video you talk about Michael driving and say something along the lines of "it's almost like evil just knows how to drive the car".....so there's a flaw in your logic somewhere. Also- original halloween, Michael uses a telephone but isn't a telephone operator...original Halloween 2 Michael uses a hypodermic needle full of air to kill someone....isn't a doctor or nurse or junkie. Halloween 4, he rigs a mechanic up on chains and pullies to fall exactly at the right time when Loomis is looking for him, isn't a mechanic or a stage hand. 2018 he hollows out a man's head to make a man o lantern, isn't a taxidermist or pumpkin carver. Kills, he stages 2 lovers together as they were in a photo and puts a record on the record player, isn't a DJ. The defense of Halloween Ends is weak, and nevermind what movies you like and why, that's fine, but God this was just pretentious to listen to.

@@matrixswayze true, though i do think "pretentious" has a pretty negative connotation. I thought the rest of the comment was completely fine, other than the last line. But agree that on the levels of internet toxicity, this is nothing.

@PointlessRewind-PR all things being equal I commented on another one of his videos on a point that I absolutely agree with. If you're going to have a forum where you criticize things, you have to also be able to take criticism. Which to his credit, he did. Took it like a champ. It actually made me more of a fan and I've watched other videos of his since.
