Always remember that if you are going to start Dead By Daylight or return to it, then events are the best time. More bloodpoints and killers like farming during these, and often are more forgiving / do silly builds. Out of my 10 games today as survivor, five were fun killers that built up bloodpoints with us. But I did not return that kindness as a Killer today, I know. . .I am evil.
