Over the next few years, I'm going to turn my front yard in to a Louisiana style swamp for Halloween. I think this ambience would be perfect for it.

@@EJAXK13 from what I know the natives used to talk of a shapeshifter beast or witch similar to the skinwalker. Looks like a werewolf. Probably carnivorous.

The French word for werewolf is loup-garou, so the legend very well could have come from Louisana's French backgrounds.
