I still think Deadly Exhibits is my favorite house even if it isn't the scariest. I just really like the idea of this eldritch horror bleeding through from somewhere totally alien and corroding what it touches. I also like how much it really looks like a museum. I wonder though... is that pillar in the lobby falling through the ceiling from above or did it get pulled up from the floor...

We went last weekend and had a great time. Took a chance on express Friday & was happy that it ended up being worth it because last year it definitely was not. Also did RIP on Saturday. That is always the best!!

I got Batilda on my first try, I think the trick was to shake the box. Because her ears stick out, she will rattle against the side quicker when you shake the box.

I’m going to be a bit of a hater for a second. As incredible as the details are for HHN…. I wish that they would focus more on the scares versus the story telling. Were all pumped into the houses and can’t see anything. Love the lights on tours for telling the story but…. It’s Halloween HORROR Nights, not “Halloween story telling and Easter egg Nights”.

The storytelling is what sets them apart from other haunts. Anyone can set up a dark room with some props and people in rubber masks who yell BOO! It’s the theming and storytelling that makes the event stand out amidst a sea of pretenders.
