What stay and scream location is your go to? 🗺📍

This is great but loaded question. 🙋‍♀️ 😂😂. For me it depends on the houses offered for HHN that year. My two favorite stay and scream locations are New York and Central Park. There are generally some pretty great and epic houses in either one of those locations. I’d like to get a jumpstart on those lol 😊

The one closest to the most anticipated houses. we try to knock those out early before the crowds!

The one that gives you access to as many houses (up to 3) as possible. The ‘worst’ stay and scream last year was San Francisco (only had 1 maze: Chucky).

NY was best last year! Got in line by Louie's at like 3pm and was in and out of Stranger Things pretty darn quickly

Did it both nights we were there last year and it's a game changer. Got to ride the Mummy one day and Gringotts the next before getting in a stay and scream location. Stayed in San Fran one day and New York the next.

Make sure you have water like they said. Those waits are long and hot. I almost had heat stroke last year florida weather is no joke.10/10 recommend stay and scream.

Yeah!!!!! More HHN 😊. Y’all are on a roll. !!! I made the mistake my first year of going to HHN of buying stay and scream, but I already had a ticket for the park so I technically didn’t need it. Universal was so great about refunding that FYI . My favorite stay and scream is New York and Central Park depending on houses for that year . Keep all the great information coming 😊😊❤❤

All the HHN! That is a great point! Universal customer service is great at issuing refunds if you find something that is redundant or a better rate like exchanging single night tickets for multi night tickets! You know we will keep the HHN content coming! We wish you could come with us for HHN!

I did. Central Park without express and hit 9 out of the 10 houses opening night. But as u said it was like a tropical storm the first night so we were all drenched and wet

I want to be in the New York area, and i was able to make a reservation at Finnegans for 330 for Weds Sept 18th!!! I researched it, and in years past, it did state they dont accept reservations after 3pm. But it was open! I hope its not a glitch. Lol!

This year when I was in the park when I was stay and screaming 😂. I actually got to try the food and drinks. Then after relaxing and eating. I went straight over to Ghostbusters and got in right away. I actually preferred that than waiting on a long line. Like I did for Beetlejuice and I think the Last of Us last year. I should mention get Express though.

@@fudge_factor Well this year I was prepared with ponchos and umbrellas. Last year it rained so bad I didn’t get to see M3gan or fully enjoy it. This year during a tropical storm last Wednesday. It didn’t rain hard and all the scare actors were out. It was a great time. I just didn’t do Monstrous and Triplets. Since I couldn’t walk anymore.

Do you get to access the houses before general admission, or do they hold you in line until the event officially opens?

You get access the houses prior to general park admission. The stay and screams have changed this year. They are New York and world expo

Does stay and scream work with multi daytime tickets? For example: We use our second day ticket to the parks during the day on the same day of our admission to HHN.

Yes! If you have access to the park during the daytime on the same day you have hhn tickets you are good to go!

Ooo that’s a good question! Something that isn’t going to get melty in the heat. We like protein bars since sometimes getting protein in the parks can be hard to come by. Quest bars are good! One bars are pretty good. We also think something that isn’t going to be melty melty in the Florida heat!

What type of multi night hhn ticket do you guys get if you get one?

We usually get the Rush of Fear with express. We will be there for the first week, so 6 days of hhn. We are going to try and go back in October through for a quick weekend

I’m still like 🥴😵‍💫🤔😫. I don’t know why this is just throwing me for a loop 😅. So do people not really hang out in Richters? My goal the first night is to go directly to Diagon Alley. Hopefully I’ll be at the park between 4:00 and 4:30 and head straight to Richters. I don’t want to get in a queue but just hang out in the restaurant.

Great question! Last year the Richter stay and scream only opened up to the one house (Chucky). It combined with the New York stay and scream at 6, but once you knocked out chucky were kinda just stuck waiting until 6. Having richter to hang out in is super nice though

Ok so what would you recommend for staying in the line for the house within a stay and scream? I was in the NY one (for HHN 31) and there was Spirits of the Coven, Halloween and like 1 other house you could pick. I chose Halloween and they moved the line 3 separate times without informing people. So the person with the big sign just walked away,(we didn’t notice immediately because they had been walking up and down the line to keep people in check) and we ended up WAY further back than we started. Any tips?

They were having a hard time controlling crowds because they were moving floats and scare actors in for the major sweets scare zone and the scare actor dinner. Idk if this is a unique thing due to the setup or if there is some way to prevent losing your spot in the line.

Last year was more controlled. They had corrals up for house lines, but I totally get the frustration from 31. We’ll have to see what houses New York releases to. We don’t have a great answer because it might change again this year on how they queue people. Just being prepared to be flexible

Anyone know if you can do stay and scream with a premier annual pass free HHN night? It seems we are just supposed to scan our annual pass, so we wouldn’t have a dated HHN ticket. Looking forward to our first HHN!!!

Great question! Yes, if you have an annual pass AND a valid HHN ticket (multi-night or single night) you will have access to Stay and Scream. 🤗 This is what we do typically (Annual pass + Multi Night HHN ticket) to use Stay and Scream. What are you most looking forward to for your first HHN?
