Halloween Shopping in June PLUS Home Office Tour & A Chat About Vlogging / Chill Summer Vlog

Hang out with me for a day in the life living in Orlando, Florida, right near the theme parks and attractions and so much fun stuff, plus a fun day of Halloween decor hunting in June with some major CODE ORANGE jackpots! We find lots of Halloween decor and fun spooky stuff. First I'll give you a quick office tour and show you where I edit my videos and some of our theme park collection and neat things about our setup. Then we'll have some fun looking for brand new Halloween decor out in the shops in June(!!!), find such a treasure trove of surprise summer code orange Halloween 2024 collections!! We'll also chat and talk about some topics like vlogging, life and channel updates. I'll share some of my behind the scenes thoughts about being a KZbinr or vlogger or whatever you want to call it, and share some personal stuff about things you have all let me know you're curious about, in a very casual conversation style as you hang out with me doing one of my silly little hobbies - summer Halloween hunting! It's a chill summer day in Orlando, and by chill, I do not mean temperature because trust me, it's HOT! We have a little trip coming up too so I'll be preparing for that. It’s totally normal and I’ve talked to so many others who have those days too. The reason you’ll never see it in videos is because I just don’t make videos those days and it’s totally ok. You’re never “missing out” because there’s always the next thing. Just look forward and think about what’s next. One thing I’ve learned is, in the long run, you won’t even remember those events you missed ya know. Like I don’t even remember things I didn’t do or “missed” two years ago. You’ll only remember the things you did do! 💕💕💕

Jackie, love to see you get so excited for all the new Halloween stuff! 🎃👻 I too have always loved Halloween, it’s one of my favorite holidays! As a kid I couldn’t wait to get the box of Halloween stuff down from storage each year so I could start decorating. When I was older as a teen, I set up a Haunted House in the entry hall of our house and my friends and I had great fun scaring kids coming for candy. My set up was mainly just Spooky, I had a big stuffed scarecrow with a skull head hanging in the entry hall and we used a tape recorder and a pull string to make him talk. Joannes brought back memories during the pandemic for me. When masks were scarce, I bought a sewing machine, which was hard to find, and taught myself how to use it to make masks for my family. I liked it so much and got so creative with the patterns I kept doing it and ended up making thousands for charity. My biggest thrill was seeing a random stranger wearing one of mine around town. So the store holds a very special place in my heart ❤️

In all honesty your vlogs keep me so up to date and informed on what’s happening in the Parks; it makes me miss it all less! My friends ask if I get a bit depressed watching it all as much as I do but it just encourages me that it’s all still evolving and waiting for our next visit. Haven’t managed to get over from the UK since 2019; had our 2020 trip cancelled and then our 2022 trip got cancelled too …. I’m coming back as soon as humanly possible! 😅

Hi Jackie, I just love your videos and I really appreciate these “Chat” videos too. I also love your travel videos too. You have wonderful content. Next was a Japenese snack tasting - go to Japan Pavillion and go into the dept store and buy 7 snacks you never tried 3rd oldest was Hurricane Irma - I think it would be for you to watch this with us and tell us about your experience with this event and maybe other hurricanes 4th oldest was Food and Wine - it will be on then - maybe talk about how the festival has changed over the 7 years and try some old favs and new - maybe there is something in that vid that is still there! 5th oldest was a Halloween store tour, since you already did that maybe take us to your fav boutique type one of a king places you like to shop or towns like Mt Dora 6th oldest was a ghost story video - maybe talk about what great local Orlando/Miami haunts there are to go to that are not theme parks 7th oldest was a Day in Animal Kingdom - a great way to end the 7 of 7 in 7 years

I have to be very careful about how much Code Orange merch I buy in June, because we legit had to open a (small) storage unit for all of the Halloween decor we already have and I just _know_ the best stuff is still yet to come! 😂 When Michael's starts putting out the Spooky Town pieces, that's when we start dipping into the "Fall Fund". Great advice regarding other creators and not worrying about trying to keep up with trends. I will say, there are videos that we've shot that we've literally _said_ as we're shooting them "nobody is going to watch this one". 😛 And that's totally OK, because they serve as our memories and we're _usually_ proud of our content even if only twenty or thirty people see it. Then there are those videos that we're kind of like "this one came out kind of mid" that of course gets thousands of views. And, just as you said, there are days when we intend to cover something and then we show up and just feel like our hearts aren't in it and just scrap the vlog entirely. It's so important to find that balance, and it's taken us a long time to really come to grips with what's best for us, our mental health and our channel! But I'm pleased to say that we have never gotten burnt out on video creation and we've always been excited to shoot the next one.
