Next week they will have Easter eggs 😂, honestly it's crazy how quickly they get the Christmas stuff out, where i live they have a stand with fall stuff and one for Halloween but the shop is decorated for Christmas, thankfully they are not playing Christmas tunes yet. ❤

I worked retail for about 6 years and October was always a sad time when the Christmas packaging started coming in. Made me really dislike the holiday for a long time.

I saw christmas decorations as early as August, which is ridiculous. Why must they create this sense of looming heaviness? Consume now! Buy gifts now because they are almost gone! Christmas is coming! As if it's this inevitable, mandatory festivity. It's not.

THANK YOU!! I wasn't sure why I get so frustrated with early Christmas and this is exactly it. It feels like we're being pressured to buy everything and rush through life. Can we just slow down and appreciate things a little first?!?
