The intro was creepy af, but for some reason (and I have NO CLUE why) the outer seemed less terrifying and more geeky? It's like if that character were to speak, she would sound like she has a chronic stuffy nose and be utterly mortified that people see her as a scary creature. She'd be really into math, and maybe collecting stamps... she'd probably wear a retainer too. I can hear her complaining about how her parents want her to be more like her brother who is uber scary, but she feels like all that blood-sucking fiend stuff is so old-fashioned. ... I'm enjoying this entirely too much. I'll quietly see myself out. *whistles innocently*

I'm living for this comment! I did try speaking in the video but my nose was SO nasal. So you are right on! lol

goldiestarling I'm so glad you liked it! I sometimes worry my weird humor is going to be more weird and less humor for other people. I just can't get this character out of my mind! I may do some writing with her... any suggestions for her name?

Hey Angie I've followed your videos for a looong time and finally got my hands on some 300bloom gelatin, I don't have much prosaide tho, i saw you says it's optional, should i still put the water without the prosaide or should i just skip both? thanks! :)
@goldiestarling8 жыл бұрын
You can still add the water. It makes it a little softer. The prosaide is mainly to make it more durable.

You seem to have an unlimited well of amazing ideas for Halloween, Angie, and I just love your artistry. How long did it take you to complete this look, from creating the mold to the finishing touches? And also, why were you wearing gloves while working on the mask?

is there a safety reason for the gloves?
@goldiestarling8 жыл бұрын
I use gloves mainly to keep my hands clean but also because alcohol is very drying to the skin. As often as I use it I just figure it might be a good idea to wear gloves.

Halloween Tradition: every Halloween my family collects as many pumpkins as we can, and then when we all get together (all of us Halloween fans) we throw a party and do "pumpkin chunkin" where we take our pumpkins and hurl them over the cliff near my parents house... just hours of throwing pumpkins down a mountain. So fun!

Gelatin is pretty sweet honestly! Reminds me a lot of silicone except the whole breaking down with heat thing. I suggest using a product like No Sweat from Mehron if you're gonna be wearing your piece for a long time. It's helped me in the past.
