Finally another ranking video, even if it’s not a music one.Yours is a pretty controversial ranking. Halloween 2 is very low. I’m a big fan too so here’s mine, it’s all just a bit of fun at the end of the day. 1. Halloween 2. Halloween 2 3. Halloween 2018 4. Halloween 4 5. Halloween 2007 Rob Zombie 6. Halloween H20 7. Halloween 3 8. Halloween Kills 9. Halloween 6 10. Halloween 5 11. Halloween Ends 12. Halloween Resurrection 13. Halloween 2 Rob Zombie

I didn't think anybody would be into another ranking video because the last few music ones barely got any views but this one seems pretty popular. I ran out of bands I liked enough to listen to their entire discographies. I did a James Bond list a while ago which seemed popular but nobody watched the X-Men one I did. This was no effort to make and there's a bunch of movie franchises I can do so I'll make more of these. You know I love analyzing other people's lists. I can see your a fan of all the reboot entries. As far as Halloween goes, they are the ones that the most effort was put into. The weird left turns are all at the bottom, understandably but you at least give 3 a pass and rank it in the middle.

@@BlackTerror Fair enough. I just stumbled upon Halloween 5 on cable tv. It really isn’t very good. It’s annoying too.I’d probably put it below Halloween Ends now if i did this again

Well, that's an interesting take. Definitely different than mine. I love Halloween 1 and 2 together. They're the best 1-2 of any horror movie for me because of how the second one picks up immediately where the first one ends. The night ain't over yet. This was the original Long Halloween. I liked that the sequel was set in a crappy, rundown government county hospital that's set to be shut down [hence why it's so low-staffed in this small town, which is explained in the movie]. I don't count part 3 as a genuine part of the series. It's a separate thing, which is entertaining enough, although I hated it when I first saw it as a kid because I was like "wth, where's Michael Myers?" Part 4 is my third favorite, although in my mind, H1 and 2 are one long movie (that's how I always watch them, together), so it's like it's my 2nd favorite. I need to rewatch Part 6 and do a deep dive on that one. H2O was mediocre when it came out. Resurrection is in the same garbage heap as Halloween Ends for me. Halloween kills ain't much better. I liked the first Rob Zombie Halloween. It'd be above H2O for me, but it's sequel would be there with Halloween Kills. I'd have Halloween 2018 ahead of Rob Zombie's Halloween, but all the reboots had, for me, the most unlikeable people outside of Laurie, the older cop dude, and sometimes Laurie's granddaughter. I was waiting for pretty much everyone else to become Michael Myers kill count padding.

Halloween 2 is a classic. Underrated a little. If it wasn’t a sequel it would be regarded even higher. More action and gorier than the original. Subjectively it may even be my favourite but objectively Halloween has to be at one for me. It’s just so iconic and still the scariest one too. Halloween Kills isn’t great but it’s not as bad as some people say

I guess my dislike for part 2 was my controversial entry on the list, every one I do has them. That's good because its a conversation starter and I didn't think anybody would even watch this ranking video so I'm glad i made it. If your going to rewatch 6 find the producer's cut. I don't know how available it is in physical form but I'm sure it can be easily downloaded these days. That was another Halloween movie that took a weird left turn and I think it worked the best. Retconned out by the next movie but we finally got an origin story. AND its got PAUL RUDD! He's a national treasure.

I thought *Ends* was the best one yet-Corey’s story, the bullies, Michael living in the sewer, the compactor scene and then BOC to put a bow on it…Ends had it all, a little somethin’ for everybody! 🎃🎃🎃

I know a lot of people tend to love Halloween 2, but if you notice it’s definitely not the John Carpenter original. It’s a bit less quality of a film. It’s a bit of an odd film too. I haven’t watched it but maybe 2 times. The music is off not being Carpenter now. Idk, it just didn’t have the same feel the first had.

Maybe it was the order of how I saw them but 2 never clicked with me. I don't think I ever saw it until after Resurrection came out when I was buying up all the dvd's at that point and seeing it had for escaped me. It does have its moments but its a lazy sequel that John Carpenter even admits to. The empty hospital comes off as a cheap setting. There's no other patients in the building?

Thanks for sharing your list! I love reading them. H20 circling the bottom of the list with you and others. When it came out it was perceived as a more serious take and rejuvenation of the franchise but nobody really cares for it much anymore. Season of the Witch gets some love at 3 which I like and it also has one of my favorite movie trailers of all time. Sadly I’m probably Resurrection’s only fan but am not surprised by it being dead last on your list. A little surprised at being 4 in the middle of the pack though behind the entire new trilogy. Other than the costume I thought that had the most going for it.

Halloween Ends...*SPOILER ALERT* Man, I also didn't watch the trailer. I actively avoid trailers for movies I already know I'm going to watch. As soon as the guy accidentally killed the kid, I turned and told my gf "Oh no. He's going to become a copycat killer or something." Kinda like Jason V. Then you pretty much had to know it when he was confronted by the generic ass horror movie bullies and he broke the milk bottle. Then that goofy crap where they throw him off the bridge and he just happens to land in Michael Myers's TMNT-like hideout? And we're supposed to believe that Laurie hasn't set up another secure compound after knowing full well that Michael got away in the last movie? Bull. Among many other problems. I've seen worse movies, but I can't say I've seen a worse Halloween sequel. This won't be the last Halloween movie they make. Given long enough, they'll reboot it again and Halloween Ends may look like Oscar bait in comparison, who knows? Anyhow, I enjoyed your video.

SPOILER ALERT! Ends seemed like it was going for all the worst Jason movies plots like 5 and Goes to Hell but never truly went there. If Ends was going to really go for a cliche I think Cory should have actually mutated into the next Michael Myers. It would have been dumb but I would have been more entertained.

@@BlackTerror We needed a cheesy 80s montage, with music, of Myers training him to be the new Myers. Then, he needed to give him his mask as a passing of the torch as he dies. And he needed to speak. "Evil lives tonight. Evil lives tonight. Evil lives tonight."

Interesting list. Just like the commentors on the Kiss album rankings, I think Halloween lists are the most varied. I love that you got part 6 in the top 4. Totally underrated movie, either version. I'm sad Resurrection is at the bottom but I understand. That one's my guilty pleasure. Kills and Ends turns out are very devisive. I hated them but see they have their fanbase. Maybe they'll grow on me like the Phantom Menace did. I'm pretty much in agreement with you in your order between ranks 4-9 though.

My thought which I avoided for spoilers in the video was it seemed like a script for something else that got rewritten as a halloween movie. The Corey story was fine but I think most people watched it for Michael vs Laurie which finally got tacked on in the end.
