for those that are wondering the scene with the ghosts flying through the air is from Disney's Halloween Treat A Night On Bald Mountain, the hand grabbing the moon is from the tale of Sleepy Hallow which used the voice and singing talent of Bing Crosby! the other cartoons are Walt Disney's earliest cartoons called Silly Symphonies

when i first heard this song on the Disneyland Fun VHS it gave me the chills from all the visuals that went on while the song played, but now that I'm older i start to get used to scary things because i learn to face my fears, sorry it takes long to do so, but because of my autism it was just so hard to be brave at times

Joshua Orro true it is sometimes hard to deal with things but don't let it get you down. Learning to read people is a valuable skill. You can usually tell what a person is thinking by their facial expression. I have aspergers so i understand.

It's great how children's movies can be so deliciously creepy! Btw, when I was little, this song and the idea of the Haunted Mansion really scared my, but by the time I went to Disney World a couple years ago, I couldn't wait to go in there! That was my favorite ride!

I thought you were using clips from "A Disney Halloween"! Yeah, we actually have that on an old homemade Halloween tape. Lots of good stuff on there (It's like, 12, 13 years old)...sometimes it won't work on some of our tape players, that's how much we love it! hell ya. Thurl Ravenscroft is one of the best bass vocalists out there. plays tony the tiger(40 years). sings ,your a mean one mr grinch, plays some of the most memorible characters in disney that have a bassy voice. to bad he was departed from us in 2006 at a ripe age of 86 ish.

Now I wonder, why can't Disney's Halloween Treat and A Disney Halloween be added to Disney+? It's always been my personal favorite tradition every Halloween! I mean it can go in the Halloween Section.

I think the main reason is it's just a clip show, mainly. But another reason is that it's dated in certain elements, like talking about the best villains. And considering both were made in the 80s and there were more scary scenes and great villains created between the 90s to the 2010s, it wouldn't really hold up today if re-released. Same could be said for several other clip show specials even from the Wonderful World of Disney.

@CosplayCore Yes, this song is featured as you go through the graveyard. The busts sing it..however you go through so fast it's impossible to hear the entire song. This is the first time i've been able to hear all the lyrics, although this is a different arrangement (the one in the ride is a quartet). I've never been to Disney World, only disney Land, but I know this is the song that the busts sing :)
