HALLOWEEN Nancy Loomis Panel - NJHC March 2023

Nancy Loomis (Kyes), from Halloween 1 through 3, gave a panel at New Jersey Horror Con March 2023 to talk about the films, her career, and answer fan questions.
Nancy Loomis, who is actually Nancy Kyes, was Annie in Halloween and Halloween II and played Linda Challis in Halloween III: Season of the Witch. Though her career was brief, she is known for Assault on Precinct 13, The Fog, The Sea Gypsies, The Twilight Zone, Lady Boss, and Not in Front of Children.

Dr. Sam Loomis in Halloween was actually named after Sam Loomis in Psycho. John did have a tendency to name characters after friends though. Tom Atkins as Nick Castle in The Fog for instance.

Just found out she was 28 years old in Halloween 1978, I assumed she was around 19 or even early 20s around same age as Jamie Lee curtis

My favorite scenes in Halloween are the ones that Nancy is in they shouldn't have killed off her character Annie so early,I feel that they should have had her last close to the end but it was meant to be that Jamie Lee Curtis was the heroine of the movie, I didn't know that Nancy was pregnant when they made the film
