That tape on the A.C. album looked pretty mummifying scary. Fun stuff. I remember buying a "Spooky Tape" in the mid-eighties at a grocery store in Virginia... It started off with Stravinsky's "Firebird Suite" and melded into The Mahavishnu's "Birds of Fire" conducted by Ed Sebinsky(?). What was weird was "Thriller" was playing in the background. Seriously. It was great! Peace on earth.

Haha, thanks! Those spooky cassette tapes were definitely weird in the best way. So interesting about the randomness of those tracks mashed together.

I'm a big Siouxsie and the Banshees, don't know what makes them Halloween, but a great excuse to see you and your cool comments. When the dB's were in NYC they were good friends of mine, remember hanging out with Peter Holsapple and them quite a bit. Great guys. Hope you are well.

That’s so cool you were friends with the dB’s! Peter Holsapple and the band. I bet you’ve got some amazing stories from those NYC days. I enjoy hearing about them. Hope you’re doing great too, and thanks for stopping by! 🎶

I use junk mail postcards cut into strips bent in half length wise, and glue them from the inside to repair record sleeves. I peel the old tape off gently and use wax based furniture spray polish on a cloth to remove crud, dust and that moldy smell they sometimes get. It also brings back the shine.

Hello. Thanks for sharing your record repair tips! Great idea.
