What a fabulous Halloween, Caleb's costumes were adorable. Your decorations inside and out were the bomb. We have quite a bit ourselves I put them up early so we all get to enjoy a bit longer. Your making such great memories for Caleb I love the traditional sloppy Joes and grilled cheese sticks. Of course TCM was on in our house, also. All the drinks were great. Halloween has always been my favorite holiday and by the looks possibly yours, too. A toast to a great Halloween with all the fun beverages and thanks for inviting us to your Halloween do!!!

When I taught Elementary School the book parade was my favorite day of the year! I teach Middle School now and the ENTIRE week of Halloween we had a spirit day and one day was "Famous Pairs" and it warmed my heart to see kiddos dress up as Arthur and DW, Waldo and Walda, the March Sisters from Little Women (I was my own "Evil" twin where I just put on a costume set of glasses- there were some eye rolls but it went over well 🤣)

You mentioned not doing the big Halloween parties and I wanted to say… good for you, you only get a few more Halloweens while Caleb is young…enjoy them !! You won’t regret it and once he is a teenager if you want to have parties again there will be plenty of time. Meanwhile you are creating traditions and core memories that will make you all smile for years to come. Speaking of smiles, today sucked and you gave me a little escape, thank you so much!🧡🖤🧡 (tomato soup and grilled cheese or chili were our Halloween meals growing up)

Great Video! I noticed you put your recipes in the plastic sleeves. I have a whole bookcase filled with cookbooks, but it's easier to just go to the internet for recipes. I print them and put them in sleeves. I have a large 3 ring binder with Category Tabs. I have a clip attached to my kitchen cabinet next to the stove and I just clip the recipe to create the food. I have been in a creative mood the past two weeks, so I have baked homemade Lemon Meringue Pies and homemade Peach Pies. I am also making homemade Ranch and 1000 Island Dressings. I live by myself, so my neighbors benefit when I get bored and start cooking.
