Halls of Stone Warrior Boosting - 900-950k+xp/hr - 700-1000g+/hr - WoW WotLK Classic

Summary: 900k+/1.8m(rested)+xp/hr, 700g/hr(solo) or 1000g+/hr(boosting), 20% Heirlooms
Decided to test out some of the solo content available for Prot warriors in WotLK on Skyfury-US as I level my alt DK on my 2nd account, here are some of my honest thoughts on the HoS boosting for warriors so far:
When can you start? Lvl 72, the experience starts off pretty reasonable but it has increased slightly since then at lvl 75 at the time of the recording. The DK also has 20% experience buff from heirlooms (safe to assume most alts by now will have heirlooms). All of the xp gained is with 0% rested experience, so able to hit numbers as high as 1.9million (possibly more if better geared than me).
General Tips: Spell reflect/interrupt dwarves as much as possible, can let golems explode by themselves instead of killing them, always try and be fighting multiple mobs to try and achieve a revenge on every GCD, try and avoid pulling all 8 dwarves at once in the main room, combo enraged regeneration + last stand for more % hp gain. Pop sweeping strikes/retaliation/shield wall/recklessness as much as possible.
Gold: Over 1000g/hr - 500g/hr in relics/raw gold/vendor, extra 100+g/hr to be made if you are an enchanter (or mail them to alt), 50g+/hr if a miner/engi and whatever the amount you decide to charge people for a boost which is server dependent, but it is safe to assume that this can be a 1000g/hr gold farm if boosting.
DK Buffs: As my DK is inactive I speced into both 10% ap + 20% melee haste so my warrior can perform the runs faster for more xp and trying to follow the best I can to keep up horn of winter (although it is not the max rank version as this DK has not left HoS since lvl 72). So whether you are boosting your alt or randoms, always try and get some buffs from them if reasonably possible. (No doubt 50% of them will be DKs so can get these same buffs)
Gear: My gear is semi-decent with a mix of prebis+10man gear, this farm would be a lot smoother with more avoidance that is available from 25man raids. There are also insane warriors out there that are probably already doing 1.1m+xp/hr.
There are probably better ways to optimise my gear/spec but this is just my standard UA heroic world tour gear/spec and seemed to work ok! The farm is definitely what you make of it, you can either try and blast and risk dying or take it slow and eat more often/wait for cooldowns.

Mate how are your revenges critting for 10k? Mine only crit for 8 in the same gear.

My dk alt I'm boosting is speced for 10% ap and I try and use horn of winter in range when I can to buff the warrior, and the >10k revenge crits are probably during a grim toll proc

nope no rested, best xp is in the mid 70s solo boosting

should be working fine, was boosting in halls of stone yesterday giving 2.5k xp/mob on a 72, unless the lvl 70 is too low lvl to boost on an 80

@@niedrzyjsietak avoidance is better than stam trinkets for the farm and have def cap from other pieces, and I don't tank raids so don't have any better trinks

i think you are hurting yourself by not using thunderclap in larger pulls (4-6+). it helps survivability and at a certain threshold does more dmg than a single revenge global would. otherwise, geat vid!

Yeh it's by no means perfect, but even the 3 dwarf pack + giants you can still be waiting for revenge procs with no TC as 1-2 can be casters and can't interrupt them all. For the earth golem boss room though 100% for those big packs of the small non elites

Thunderclap helps with nothing, it will only slow down ur dps and is a waste it global as revenge is almost allways up

@@aSinergy it slows the attack speed of the mobs and ensures better survivability or enables you to do bigger pulls.

do you think this is worth it as deep prot or is UA spec the way to go overall? i've been deep prot all phase but the content is so easy im thinking of trying out UA

For this farm UA 100%, deep prot will just be too slow. If talking raiding wise UA is super fun on multi-mob bosses and trash but if you are not the Main tank in a raid UA is pretty useless, unless you don't have an arms/combat rogue for the 4% physical debuff and can take it as UA spec. Single target main tanking as UA in raids doesn't even feel great in comparison to deep prot due to most naxx bosses having a slow swing timer. But if you want to have fun tanking hcs, 100% recommend UA to do 5k overall dps beating all the dps
