LSD and mushrooms completely changed my whole outlook on life. I became a better version of myself This experience gave me a lot of confidence about my self and my body. A bunch of bad thought / behavior patterns were broken. One of these was pretty bad OCD that made me wash my hands a lot. It gave me a lot of hope that things will be fine, this is the one thing that I heard throughout the trip: Everything is alright. The main reason for the trip was my severe depression and it definitely helped me (although it's not gone). Before all I could do was lay in bed. Now I am trying to rebuild my life one step at a time which wasn't possible before."

I first heard this in December 1994 when Paul Oaknefolds Goa Mix aired on The Essential Mix on Radio 1. It utterly enthralled me then and I am still as enthralled by it now as I was nearly 26 years ago. Nothing on this earth sounds like this. This was a golden era.

I first heard it in 2001, downloaded off kazaa or Morpheus or whatever I was using at the time. I went through a list of techno artists and of all of them I picked hallucinogen because it sounded the trippiest, and boy did I pick the right one. I'm from Midwest USA so for a long time I was the only one I knew listening to hallucinogen and shpongle.

This track will be 30 years old in Oct 2025! I remember when I first heard this back in 97. I was gifted the cd by a DJ friend along with two TIPs - Phosphorescent & Blue Compilation. At the time I listened to mostly classic rock, metal & drum n bass.Still do. Those 3 cds changed my life and appreciation of music, I was never the same! Thanks Andre wherever you are.🌠

I’ve been listening to this album since I was 16. Not only was it until last year 420, did I take acid for the first time, and I felt true empathy for people (I’m autistic so my feelings of empathy are naturally more limited). I was always into electronic music going back to the early 90's. Drum n Bass, hard trance, happy hardcore etc, then got into the uplifting trance stuff well into the 2000's. For some reason Goa trance always eluded me. Never knew anything about the genre until 5 or 6 years ago. I'm sure I heard a few tracks here and there but it never clicked with me until I heard this version of LSD. Been hooked on oldskool Goa trance ever since.

I wished I would have heard this song when it came out in the mid 90's because I started listening to techno/trance in 1994. I can't believe I missed this track in the 90's but then again this kind of music genre was underground here in the states and I didn't have internet until late in 1998. I first heard this song in 2010 on you tube. This song is a masterpiece. Even a couple of my friends who are in their early 20's like this song as well.

I listened to trance, psy trance and its various manifestations without the influence of alcohol and drugs, everything is relative and subjective. For many this style of music is too fast and chaotic and the mind spins faster, but for some it has the adverse effect and slows down in a relaxed mode. When this cd first came out and was available in it's original pressing, I bought two copies. One has been played over and over, the other is still in it's original plastic wrapping, still sealed as it came when I ordered them. I figured if there was any cd I wanted to keep untouched, unopened, for whatever that is worth, it is this cd! What I will do with it, I don't know, but at least I have it!

I'll never forget the comedown of an acid trip where I heard a rattlesnake flickering its rattle back in 2001. It was the a distinct rattle, not a hallucination, and that's when it gets real. I meandered out of there quickly.
