i was fortunate enough to have something similar to that happen, there was a marching band festival dedicated to video games, the color guard were dressed as cortana, and another band did metroid, each color guard had a different suit on from the game. Needless to say, it was good day.

The guy who did the recomposition of this for the band not only ruined the halo suite, but mutilated this whole thing. The band did well though, and their footwork was sharp as well.

Again, I have no idea what the rating system is being referred to, but this show scored us just shy of the highest level on the rating scale in Arizona. We were never rated less than a "Superior" that year, and I believe we had one or two "Superior with Distinction" ratings, which is the highest rating. I'm not going to try to remember our point scores, though, because this was over three years ago.

@PoohStickProductions The Tenors are the proper name for it. You hear people call them quads, quints, or hexes, depending on how many drums are on the set obviously. The main set up is 4 drums in this order 3 2 1 4. The thing that sets them apart is in front of the four is either one or 2 much smaller accent drums or "spocks". I know the drumline was into it but they REALLY need to work on their heights on the line solo, it looks way too chaotic.

This is really cool. I love the games and this is really awesome. I wish when I was in band we did cool shows like this, but we had to stick with what our composer made. I give these guys brownie points for doing shows like this. Those are some tricky songs and there's a lot of guitar in them, so doing those songs without that is pretty epic. Way to go guys. :D

(watch drumline and see how many mistakes they made when they shoulda had WEEKS of prep all day every day) take it from someone whose school won the nys chamionship 7times! its definitely not easy oh and my band was only about a 50 to 60 piece band.

@chamochalk halo, the most inspiring xD, its not even the most revolutionary, all it did was copy elements from quake and unreal tournament and gave it a good singleplayer, in terms of revolution, go play duke nukem or wolfenstien.
