Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn is a live action series, which will be on view from October to KZbin and Halo Waypoint. The series tells the origins of the destructive war between humans and the Covenant from the perspective of a young cadet who hires on the UNSC cruiser Infinity. The events of Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn guide fluent in five episodes of the blockbuster Halo 4. This is from the 6th November 2012, in the stores and put up with the return of Master Chief, a new chapter in the Halo saga. In addition, owners will receive the Limited Edition Halo 4 through Halo Waypoint access to an expanded version of Forward Unto Dawn, the exclusive scenes and additional background information and provides a peek behind the scenes of the production.

The Halo franchiseis just AWESOME. I mean they already 6 awesome Ego-shooters and 1 relative good realtime-strategy game, about 6 good written ( or more, you can correct me if you will) books. 6 Animes, where some of them are really good. Comic novels and other stuff like these "Lego-like" Blok figures and now this. What will come next? Playcards? Actual Lego stuff? Anyway, I LOVE Halo!! :D

@John jeuseng you should remind buffalo that covenant weapons are plasma based. And the issue is that with it being a super-heated plasma, after the bolt is fired is has a containment field that is lost upon impact which causes the plasma to go everywhere around the impact zone. Thus hyper lethal.

Its actually a double layer rubber mold, practical suit. underneath the plates is basically a stylized wetsuit. sitting on top of that are multiple rubber panels for practical weight and maneuverability. They do this to create realistic movements from the actor inside the suit. did the same thing for the first Iron Man movie.

I just looked it up, and it's a mix of both of our descriptions. He has brown hair, is really pale due to being in armour all the time, freckles, and is strongly built, but not too muscly. It's been years since I've read the books haha.

However im still quite confused as to why the chief is wearing the armor he used in Halo Legends episode "The Package" which took place before halo 4, as far as i know it actually was before reach even. so why he has it before halo 4 confuses me, if anybody knows why he has it could you please let me know? They didn't have to make a movie, and im pretty sure they didnt really make money off the movie either, they realeased it free to the fans. What more do you want? lol

Side note is that, water logged foam armor, would be insufficient in any melee combat and unless you had a water source it would quickly become useless after being depleted of water. Though it probably would protect well from an energy weapon initially.

To everyone complaining about the armor, they still have to edit the video. See first they film the movie, then they edit the video to make the armor and other things look more like metal or what ever it needs to look like. All movies do that. The reason the armor is made out of rubber is so that the guy in it can actually do stuff besides walking. And if you ever watched halo legends that is what chiefs armor looked like before halo ce.

Stuff like this always looks weird when the frame rate isn't right, like on the cameras used to shoot these behind the scene videos. Just wait until you see the correct lighting with the right frame rate and it will look much better. Try watching a soap opera if you don't know what I mean. The camera moving, and the presence of the actors just seems off all the time.

3 foot of water will shield you from the radiation of a nuclear blast. the small path a beam weapon would cut through a water logged foam or gel would infill with replacement water absorbing the energy. it would be pretty hard to get through unless you were blasting with significant energy. projectiles are a different matter... it would be a failure to assume armor appropriate for a missile such as a bullet or particle would be appropriate to block a beam of energy

easy there friend, i wasn't saying this is a bad show or anything, just making note on how actors move in general. thank you for all the information on ballistic plate, i would like to inform you that most people already know soldiers carry a lot of weight. lastly, why are you defending these actors? i was simply comparing them to NAVY S.E.A.L. arguably the best soldiers on the planet (honorable mention S.A.S and Israel commando). actors cant move like a navy seal; better accept that fact.

They actually wrote the screenplay and had the whole story ready with Peter Jackson as a producer for the film, but everything crashed apparently because of salaries and for that reason the studio wanted to remove some people and doing so the production came to a halt.

I think the Chief's armor is based off the Halo Legends Episode, "The Package" It looks similar to the Mark VI, bt it's not the same. Also, botht the armor in the trailer and that episode have to white strips across his bicep.

That's probably because this is a younger version of the Chief. This is like the beginning of the Human/Covenant war. I'm sure he was aged between 14 and 25 at the time of this.

Ive read in the books, that his hair is a very dark brown. Go look at pics on google of the master chief with his back turned to the camera with his helmet off. his hair is dark brown to almost black.

It's not a bad idea; it lets the people new to the halo universe know that master chief is not the only spartan, he is the product of a significantly large project. The fact that spartan John 117 was the most successful, influential and longest lasting spartan brings a certain pride to the number... at least 116 "failures". I for one am glad to see it on the armour, it reminds me of the impossibly insurmountable odds a random individual can accomplish in relation to his colleagues. TL;DR Read it

Well, if you are asking to see the actors face, it is that hard to find out who is acting as chief, his name is Daniel Cudmore, who played colossus in the X-Men series.But if you are wanting to see the real master chief face, then they will not show it, throughout all games, you have never seen his face, and so they will not show it in this. But you never know, we may find out what he looks like in the future.

Because the only times they've described him were once as a child and once as an adult, neither of which gave very much info at all. The only thing they even say about his appearance as an adult was that he was very pale from the armor and had a stiff look about him. That's really all you have to go on. Also; because when you assume the role of someone you know nothing about, you're not bound to certain characteristics of a character. You can play it how you want to.
