​@HaloLoreNerd Fly backwards and increase altitude; Banshee can't fly backwards, would have to turn to follow the Falcon (if it chose to) and the incline of the nose means target acquisition would be near immediate for the gunner. Plus altitude gain and loss doesn't require the Falcon to be pointed in the direction it's going like the Banshee does. I know this is old but figured I'd give you a proper response since I loved piloting the Falcon.

Michael T hornet did that better. Has missiles and machine guns for the pilot. Better control and has two spots for other players who could carrier rockets or other hi powered weapons. Falcon has no gun in the front for multiplayer and two gun spots that are only machine guns. Hornet is just much better in every way. Tho falcons are still cool

I never realized how fast the Falcon was until playing New Alexandria today. After taking out the turrets at the Oni Tower I felt like trying to chase down a Banshee for shits and giggles, but I actually caught up decently quick. So the Falcon's acceleration is alright, but it's top speed is kinda ridiculous.

The Hornet was the best of all three! The Falcon would've been #1 (even without rockets) if you as the driver (not counting the 2 two gunner spots) were able to shot the machine gun yourself as you flew the aircraft. Bungie allowed you to shoot a machine gun during New Alexandria, but took the ability out of multiplayer, I've always disagreed with that choice, it wouldn't have been OP with 3 machine guns in total (that is you the driver, along with both gunner seats being occupied and used). Now you include rockets, then its OP.

Well, the Wasp certainly looks great. They need to put these as a playable vehicle in Halo 6's campaign, to show how effective and powerful it really is in the campaign. The Wasp, I hear, is so weak in the multiplayer but that could be due to balancing since it is fast and has shields.

+Hamid Ahbedin I have a mod that allows you to fly a falcon with a turret in custom games, it is really op and can kill a Spartan in like 2 shots and can wreck a banshee in a 1v1, that and if you fly up directly above a Scorpion you can shoot them but they can't shoot you, its pretty much like a pelican turret

Well, there's a couple reasons for that. Chiefly, that Halo 5 is just a faster paced game than 3 or Reach. But lore-wise, the UNSC's equipment has a cybernetic link with its operators. That HUD you see is what your Spartan is seeing, it isn't just a matter of gameplay. So one could definitely assume that SPARTAN IV units are capable of remotely activating vehicles- pretty much in the exact same way you push X to enter. You enter and the controls are already being fooled with by your Neural interaface. Aren't Cybernetics cool? (No I can't explain why it works this way for Covenant stuff, other than a likely pre-existing software patch that uses collected data over 30 years to boot up alien vehicles. I suppose the Phaeton really is just the same thing but it doesn't use the Neural interface.)

Hornet>Falcon>Wasp I don’t understand why everyone is preferring the Falcon over the Hornet. If you were going solo and you were piloting a Hornet, you could demolish enemies both in the air and on the ground a lot more quickly then doing it with a Falcon. Not only dose the Hornet have a good amount of speed and maneuverability, it’s durability is also better than the Falcons. A Falcon pilot has to rely on their gunners to kill the enemy and don’t have the ability to shoot guided rockets. Like the saying goes, “If you want something done right, do it yourself.”

I like them all to be honest here are my reviews: The hornet is a solo or 3 person VTOL typer assault helicopter hybrid which is affective in small fleets, or could clear infantry out fast as a solo hornet, having 2 passengers was also affective for more infantry, you could be piloting and taking out a Wraith, as your allies could make sure you didnt get SPNKred'. There was also a 'transport hornet' on Sandbox and Avalanche, only difference being it is slightly more white-ish and could not fire rockets. The Falcom was the same as the Hornet, in campaign. The MP falcon was relative to the hornet, but was only transport to find team members when driven solo. The Grenade falcon in TOTS was cool to use, before crashing into the Spire... The Wasp is a one man VTOL with low maneuverability yet swift speed, twin machine guns and rockets were also added, similar to the hornet, the ONI Wasp was better for vehicular ingagements, and the Hannibal Wasp is just FUCKING FUN!!! Any disagreements? Well I know, these UNSC vehicles are pretty baren, being only in 3, Reach, and 5. We were very close to a falcon In Halo 4, but never got it, and I understand disagreements cause they were 'Damaging, but took more' especially the Wasp. FO: We need more Wasps... Corp, Woodland, yata yata... but IMO: The Falcon was better: it was hard to control at first, as a copter would be, but it required teamwork to use, or simply a mode of transportation for you.

Uhh, my best guess is that the Wasp is a redesigned Hornet. And the Falcon became a medical bird, the Nightingale. Sooo, yeah, Hornet may not comeback and the Falcon has an even smaller chance. Considering how useless it was in halo lore, Falcon most likely doesn’t exist in the UNSCDF arsenal anymore, well any armed evolution variant anyways.

I dont know why people hate tha Wasp, its a diferent concept, a one passenger aircraft focused on the velocity, fast engagements and taking out light vehicles and infantery, its design its also very original, it remainds me of the Sparrowhawk, and the Hornet at the same time; i know many people hate it becouse of his light armor, and, to by honest, its paper. The Hornet its a VTOL for excellence, a bird with an overwhelming fire power, heavy armor, but with the unability of dodging rockets, and The, "The Falcon", its just epic. Indeed, Can you imagine a Falcon, carring important data of the enemy in the middle of a battle, being escort for a group of Wasps meanwhile a fleet of Hornets attacks a assault carrier and a group of Wasps penetrates inside attacking the core? Thats my point, these three aircrafts complementates each other perfectly.

I think reach is the best because it can carry troops along with have two defense guns on the sides and can be equipped with a heavy autocannon controlled by the pilot as u can see in campaign the others are cool the one in three can also carry troops equipped with infantry weapons but I still prefer the falcon the wasp from five is clearly superior but it can only really be used for attacking whereas the others can carry troops and land them behind enemy lines
