I recommend using the "Advanced Sensors" Armor Mod. It makes you harder to be detected by enemy players. This really fits with the stealth aspect of an ODST.

ODST's actualy go behind enemy lines so to be an ODST you need to get behind the enemy's spawn and 1 by 1 silently kill them or buy enough time for your team to flank them.

ODSTs are basically like a lighter, and weaker tactical Spartan. Faster speed would make sense on it. Just about anything small and light would make sense for an ODST.

Actually, the TRUE ODST loadout is the Recon SMG with SILENCER. The one you're using is the long barrel, I hope you noticed that.. The full loadout is: Recon SMG with silencer, Tactical M6H2 Magnum, and Advanced Sensors.

Not quite true with the drop pod. Yes it is very dangerous. But they protected that pretty well. Risks include falling unconscious in pod and other minor to major things. Personally I would rather be ODST than Spartan. As an ODST don't need to risk those steroid-y Spartan things. Plus I can impress people with that pure strength.
