@@Warlock_Le_Moron Master Chief wasn't the only survivor. Members of Red Team were ordered to secure the generators to keep the orbital defense grid online. They would ultimately be overrun and rescued by Master Chief and other survivors of Installation 04 which included Sergeant Avery Johnson just days later. They would eventually make it back to Earth aboard the UNSC Gettysburg which was repaired and refitted with a Covenant slipspace drive. The other spartans would ultimately be reassigned to the Forerunner shield world Onyx which would activate and trap them for four years before being rescued. At that time in the year 2557, Master Chief would be stranded in unknown space on the UNSC Forward Unto Dawn and would crash on the Forerunner shield world Requiem. Infinity picks up the distress signal which leads into the events of Halo 4 and Halo 5.

I’m curious though he said the pillar of autum was trying to leave reach however when I read this book about the battle of reach the autum was out of distance for the start of the battle and then was engaged in battle in space now idk if there are differences between the game and fall of reach but it’s a bit confusing trying to find out what’s canon or not

@@ethancrash The game changed the events for some reason so there's a clash of lore. I prefer the book lore but I also like Noble team and the events of H:R so I combine the two to make my own headcanon. I reject their reality and substitute my own.

I remember the first time I played Halo at a friend's house. I was terrible and discovered my kryptonite; using a sniper rifle and fps games (that excludes Metroid Prime). If I had an Xbox, I'd give it another shot but I don't. I'm more of a PlayStation and Nintendo kinda gamer. I do play games on my laptop of course but yeah nah, if I had an Xbox I would have an excuse to buy Halo and have a crack at it again. Edit: I have a book entitled 'Halo', it's about an angel who falls in love with a human. I read it in high school and a couple of boys walked up to me and asked 'Is that based on the game?!' I am like 'No.' The cover is a silhouette of a human man and woman with feathery wings about to kiss and they still ask if it's based on the video game? (A great book btw, a trilogy, Halo, Hades and Heaven.)
