What I find interesting about the name "On a Pale Horse" is that it is originally a novel that has someone(Zane) kill death and has to take their place. The relation to Halo could vary from Zane dealing with higher beings. To the nature of fate, war, time and evil. There is even an alternate Earth with superior technology.

And that novel was inspired by Revelation of The Bible, as the rider of the Pale Horse was Death himself. Gotta give it to Halo being chalk-filled with biblical references.

I can’t stop imagining this over Master Chief in a Halo movie, firing his way out of the control room structure, after Guilty Spark reveals the truth about the ring’s purpose and Cortana suggests to blow up the Pillar of Autumn

The growing intensity of this rendition would be awesome to see in a new scene adapted into a movie where Chief is flying a hijacked Banshee being chased by Covenant Banshees in the icy canyons to Halo’s control room. Think Oblivion and the intense M83 score chase scene. For a proper ending to this music track, perhaps after the Chief is able to pull maneuvers and shoot the trailing Banshees down, he then pulls a Jimmy Rings from the Paramount TV show, kamikazing the damaged Banshee into a Covenant drop ship to assist Johnson and his Marines on the ground.
