My favorite weapon has to be the battery rifle. Sure, it can explode due to overheating, but it's basically like a machinegun. So long as you time your bursts properly once the weapon is warmed up, it's quite deadly. If you have enough ammo, you can just sit in a corner while laying down suppressive fire and pick off stragglers.
