I'd give the Army Painter Fanatics range a go. Not only are they great paints it seems to be the range Mantic are using for the plaint set. I think they'd take really well to Contrast or Speed Paints too.

@@ColdFire047 technically no, he was a preorder bonus. But I went to a few stores yesterday and saw they were giving him for free for any purchase of the Spartan edition, so if you haven't gotten it yet, you may be able to pick him up locally
