Something great about that plasma grenade scene from Red vs Blue is that they didn't have a high budget yet so they were fully restricted by the game & had to use frequent cuts since there was no way to delay the explosion. That was also before Theater Mode was a thing so the "camera" was just another player watching the other players do stuff.

I know of two other Easter eggs: The description of the "3" gun emblem is "We need to vote someone off the ship." I'll give you three guesses what that's a reference to. The other is on a cliff side near the lowest AA gun on the map, there's a small pit with a dead grunt and marine, who appear to have made small forts out of sandbags and were having a standoff.

One easter egg you missed is the ability to pull a massive cannon off a turret in the third mission of the game, it shoots scorpion tank rounds, had infinite ammo and you can carry it throughout the entire game. This is clearly a callback to the scarab weapon you can pick up in Halo 2

not necessarily, the scarab gun had an actual model, this one doesnt, the scorpion gun also can cause glitches when using equipment, at least in my personal case, you can grappel or threat sensor, but you cant drop wall, and evade will get you stuck in crouch. I also was unable to clamber or use grenades with the scorpion gun, I never got to get the scarab gun on OG halo 2, so its possible Im missing something, but it looks atm like a full on glitch. especially considering the airstrike uses tank rounds

The codes for the activation sequence that Chief uses when he attempts to delete Weapon are all easter eggs. "Red Flag" was an operation that Chief had previously participated in. And Samuel-034 was one of Chief's two best friends when they were children, training in the SPARTAN-II program. Sam sacrificed himself to complete a mission that he, Chief, and Kelly-087 were on when they were 14 years old.

Quick question about the scorpion cannon gun. On my first playthrough, I finished the conservatory mission and after the cutscene introducing the Harbringer ended at the end of the mission, I spawned in the new area with just my main weapon, and lost the Scorpion Cannon. Is this a glitch that happens after some missions?

I actually know of an easter egg present only in the italian version: it's a line of dialogue that might be said from the team, it's referencing a famous comedy trio here in italy called Aldo Giovanni e Giacomo.

You actually missed a couple more things in the campaign. At some part of the map (not sure where, sorry) you can find a hologram of the Blood Gulch map. The brute boss Hyperius has Spartan Locke's helmet attached to his armour. There's also 3 more call backs to Red vs Blue. Occasionally, when the Pilot is dropping you a tank at an outpost, will mention the tank is called "Sheila", there is also an achievement related to a tank with the achievement name: "Bring Sheila Home", or something close to it. The last RvB Easter egg comes in the form of a multiplayer loading tip, sometimes the tip will ask the age old question of "Ever wonder why we're here?". I've also probably missed quite a few easter eggs but these are the ones I found myself Edit: Correction about Locke's helmet Edit 2: Found another small RvB one, occasionally marines in the campaign will also ask the question of "Ever wonder why we're here?"

That was not an HVT, but one of the Spartan Killers, Hyperius (one of the Brute brothers, the one with the chopper). He also wears a necklace with spartan-fingers attached to it. Also, Locke's helmet being attached to Hyperius' shoulder is mentioned by the grunt operating the propaganda towers saying "Man that Spartan Locke sure did know how to get ahead-which is why Hyperius used his helmet as arm decoration!"

You missed one Northwest of the target “Zeretus”, you can find a campsite with a lot of food including a mango, chicken, a watermelon, some bananas and many others. There are also some brute helmets scattered around the campsite. I do not know if that is related or not.

I would highly recommend going through the mainline Halo games. They have amazing campaigns (mostly), and they do have some fun easter eggs as well. Also, I do believe you can find that Halo Infinite arcade game in outpost Tremonius around the corner to your right when you first enter the open world. I think

Additional easter egg worth mentioning: After beating the campaign, you'll return to the main map at Outpost Tremonius. Head back behind the building where you first entered the world map and you'll find a door leading to a small room with a dead Brute, a few dead Marines, a lot of drink bottles, and an oldschool arcade machine playing an 8-bit version of the Halo theme. That's pretty cool on its own... ...but if you look at the back of the machine you'll see the words 'This is madness' spray-painted on. This is almost definitely a reference to the famous scene from the movie 300 wherein the king of the Spartans, Leonidas, punts a Persian emissary into a pit shortly after the man utters those same words. A really cool call-out from one story about Spartans to another!

Another reference to the first game is the return of the soldiers throwing their arm up and cheering when catching air in a warthog. And dead soldiers can be found in classic death poses from the first game. One of these is a dead marine in a crashed escape pod on a hill next to the first spire u find in the campaign.

The small sandwich appears elsewhere in MP and Training maps. One of which appears on a forklift. The Halo Arcade machine also appears in the campaign. Simply head back to the location you 1st step foot on the Ring. Go to the back of the building, past where the 1st button is (now missing). There is a Forerunner door that once held a surprise sword Elite. Well, now that the UNSC are in charge if the area, they've made it a rec room. And dead center is the arcade machine. Songs play just as they do in the MP. Personally, I'm disappointed they didn't use it to include the classic Halo Flash games. At the 3 AA gun mission, grapple to the top if the far left mountain. There you will find Spartan Griffin's upgraded Sniper Rifle. But at the tip top is another Arbiter doll. Except, this one pops up and wiggles as if stuck to a magnet.

If you melee the guitar that you see at the right at 6:27 it actually make electric guitar sounds, and if you keep meleeing it, it will start to do some Halo riffs, and even small guitar solos! Very cool! I love this kind of stuff!

I found 2 sheila the tank references from red vs. blue. if you order a tank at a FOB sometimes the pilot will say "her name is sheila". the other is an achievement, in the final stretch of the campaign you have the option of several vehicles to take to the silent auditorium and one is a tank. if you get that tank all the way to the end of the area without it blowing up you get a chevo called "getting sheila home" (or something like that).

There is an Mark VII armor chest ornament for multiplayer that is of a teddy bear with a green scarf. This is a reference to a short in the Halo Legends animated movie where a spartan has the same one on her armor.

There's another set of buttons similar to the one at Outpost Tremonious that you can find in the House of Reckoning during the fights near the end of the campaign. I found and pressed two of them, but nothing happened. I assumed there was a third one, but I couldn't find it. Now I'm just wondering what they do.

@@HawksOfHazard The first one I found was in the second area that you have to fight in, on top of the central building. You can use your grappling hook to get up to a narrow gap between the roof of that building and the ceiling of the cave you're in. There's a dead marine up there laying next to a big red button. The second one is pretty easy to spot from up there. There are these horizontal beams near the ceiling, like rafters, and there's a button that's clearly visible at the other end of them. But I never found the third one.

13:39 this arcade cabinet is also findable in the Campaign, behind the area you start the open world section in. (down in a cave) dropped off the mountain ridge and ran into it, the cave isn't super hidden. Also I think I may have found another plushy while searching very low around the edges where you can fall into space. (towards the center of the map, I think it was a brute)

At outpost tremonius there's an invisible, infinite ammo, hand held scorpion tank turret on top of one of the anti-air guns next to the 3rd button shown on this video. I imagine it would be really helpful on legendary as it was kicking ass on heroic.. until I dropped it and couldn't find it. I've seen someone keep hold of it all game. Not sure if this is an intentional easter egg or a glitch

As far as I can tell once dropped it cannot be picked back up, I used it to cheese my legendary run, and whenever I accidentally grappled a gun, I would instantly kill myself to get the scorpion gun back. Also should prove extremely useful with LASO, especially boss fights, some of which were hard even with a tank cannon.

on the craig easter egg there is a guitar at the center that you can punch to play certain guitar riffs edit: at the repository section there is a secret room nearby that has the genetic DNA of a "flood infection form" its surrounded by multiple security lasers to show how dangerous one flood spore can be. the flood didn't make a canonical appearance in this game but are referenced throughout it

In one of the cosmetic packs for armors there's a reference to one of the episodes from the halo legends movie called "homecoming". The pack is titled "daisy delights" and one of the cosmetics is a small teddy bear with a green scarf that the spartan in the episode had on her person through the whole episode.

If you jump a warthog or the razorback with marines on it, you sometimes hear them say "PUMA POWER!" A reference to the RvB series regarding the Warthog being called a Puma

They should've added the feature that the anniversary versions of Halo 1 and 2 had where you could switch graphics between the original and new, but they should have it switch between what the graphics wouldv been like if they had released on the original release date compared to the year later graphics.

I'm not sure the caliber of this being considered an easter egg, but far off in the distance of the campaign map you can see a crashed Guardian from Halo 5 (most likely Cortana's Guardian). I find its presence as a bit of a metaphor, and adds a lot to the lore going into Infinite.

There's a couple Easter eggs that reference the Scorpion Tank as Sheila. Sheila is the name of the tank in RvB. Sometimes Echo-216 will drop off the tank and call it Sheila, and there's a secret achievement when you are storming the House of Reckoning for getting the tank to the end on the bridge without destroying it called "Bring Sheila Home Safely".

There's also a tank gun in the campaign it's on the left cannon of the second aa turret near the button you found for the airstrike and the space invaders arcade shows the enemies as banshes seraphs and phantoms while the unsc ship is a sabre which could possibly a reference to the long night of solace in halo reach

I found the panoramic spot at the Outpost Tremonius. As I was approaching the viewing platform I presumed it was some sort of tribute or easter egg for Assassin's Creed. Weird. When the Halo music blared out and I finally noticed the Ring right in front of me..."This is much better."

I also found an Easter egg that I couldn't find on the Internet so far. At the location with the scorpion gun, there is a forerunner room with some weapons in it and an invisible elite. At least the first time you open it. I went there (directly when you first come up to see halo, then turn around the very first building you are leaving and head to the mountain) during the campaign and found some enemies. After beating the campaign I came back and there were no more enemies but a halo gaming machine. The same like in the multiplayer map.

Wow I completely overlooked the Craig Easter egg and the first skull I got was IWHBYD but there’s another Easter egg in the campaign which is similar to the arcade box except I believe it’s a combat evolved themed one, I can’t recall for sure. Not really sure where at either but it was in a structured cave somewhere
