The only thing I don’t like about the bulldog is in multiplayer it takes between 2-3 shots to kill someone point blank as opposed to every other Halo Shotgun. It feels wrong. But I like the bulldog that detail aside.

The Bulldog is great, you just need to not use it like the OG shotty. It's full auto and has decent range, it actually pays to stay outside of melee range so you wont trade.

@@fusionwing4208 I kind of find it annoying in campaign- it works well in multiplayer, but a non-power close ranged weapon has very little place in campaign- they give it to mid-level brutes in place of the spiker, and it's significantly less problematic, as unless they air-drop around you, you can literally stay out of their range and kill them with a normal assualt weapon. Seems like it'd have made for more interesting gameplay to give them grav hammers, with the more limited actual range (for heroic/legendary, where taking chip damage from the bulldog just leads to less aggressive play, because you can totally outrange a shield and bulldog brute, but it's a hitscan rapid fire weapon, so there's not really a good way to 'play clever' in close)

There is also a unique heatwave that is just called "Heatwave" the only indication it is unique is its white skin. It has less spread in horizontal mode as well. It can be found in a hidden area near forward outpost termanius (I think that's what it's called at least) there will be an arcade machine next to it.

Honestly, I just used the impact commando as an all rounder, tapping my shots and aiming for the head when possible. It's basically a better ar, but with way more controlability. It's high capacity helped me alot, although if on a story mission I'd definitely not bring it for most, going with more specific weapons than it, like the shotgun for maps with tight rooms, or an explosive gun for hunters because fuck armored targets. It's not bad, you just need restraint, and to aim for the head. Same thing for backdraft cindershot, it ain't bad, you're bad, it's alternative fire is literally on your ability to predict and point at an enemy, it's like the rpg from half life.

Using the legendary / variant weapons feels way too bothersome in the campaign 'cause you never find ammo for them. You either have to switch them out almost immediately or have to carry them around empty until you find a ammo crate, which won't really happen for power weapons. If only the normal versions of the weapons would refill the legendarys / variants when you walk over them, but that doesn't happen either.

Just something to add: Bloodblade: deals more damage than the duelist, Hardlight, perishes enemies. Duelist energy sword: allows you to jump higher and run faster, further attack range, faster swing rate. Conclusion, use bloodblade for mor tankier enemies such as the brute chieftains and elite generals, use duelist for weaker infantry like elite minors - elite ultras.

Awesome summary, thanks. Some thoughts after finally getting all of them myself: - Flexfire + Striker can be monsters for dps. On a Bandana run you can just hammer away at people at max firing rate without losing precision. The large circle on the Flexfire seems to be just an annoyance, as I can shoot it pretty fast and it still seems to hit pretty close to center, probably almost as good as the S7. This becomes irrelevant with Blind on too. Also with the shocking drop wall upgrade you can still disable vehicles pretty quickly with the Flexfire. - I might just rush the Duelist when trying LASO. Feels like it would be a great tool for agility shield siphoning. - Convergence bulldog is the shotgun I always wanted for sure. But it is such a beast it would be a nightmare to balance in multiplayer and would probably have to be a power weapon with more limited ammo. Hilariously fun to mow down targets in the campaign though. - Bandana + Arcane = lmao

Fun fact most if not all of the upgraded weapons spawn on the multiplayer maps with the hex vaults (and specific maps spawn specific upgraded weapons in certain places. sometimes) however your more likely to get the standard variants in the vaults. I've also noticed that the wepons that would be counted as secondaries always spawn as their upgraded variants in the vaults and never as their standard variants. Good luck in the field spartans.

The single tap capacity and improved zoom (1.65 over standard 1.4) give it incredible versatility. I used it through most of the campaign’s final missions refreshing it at kinetic ammo caches. Most unshielded brutes go down in three or four headshots, which at close range on full auto is about an eighth of a second.

I like the Riven Mangler and Striker Sidekick a lot. Simple, Pratical, and you can have them almost indefinitely. If I had to choose a Power Weapon, the Tracking SPNkrs have really gotten me through a couple really tough battles since I got them.

The Calcibe Disruptor and the Arcane Centinel Beam are just great. Absolutely powerful even in legendary, extremely useful to remove shields and kill quickly. Get five marines in a Razorback with five Arcane Centinel Beams and enjoy the massacre they cause. Even in LASO they melt foes, which is ridiculous.

You forgot to mention that the Rushdown Hammer and Duelist Sword can both jump high and move faster than the normal versions. Also the modified Bulldog and Commando have more bullets and the Plasma Pistol can shoot a shotgun of charged shots when you charge it.

The backstory behind the striker pistol is that they took jun's sniper rounds and shoved them in a pistol. And with the arcane sentinel beam they took the sniper rounds and decided to make a pinpoint accurate SMG out of them

I believe the duelist energh sword also makes your movementslightly better, idrk tho. And I have also have come to avsolutely adore the shock rifle in general but mainly the purging shock rifle. Idk why, its just fun.
