Mike's Workshop I know it’s not fair compare stories that what it comes down to. Halo 2 had the best story to me as it improve from halo 1. But I enjoy every bit of halo. The series always spoke to me. It’s the one game most Sony fans would play or want. Just how I’m heavily invested in all of God of War. Can’t wait for the next halo. It’s going to be epic, I have a strong feeling.

The song at 5:30 is the same song that plays in the intro to halo 3, also while cortana is talking. I remember the first time I watched the trailer (after rewinding to hear the shield charge sound 5 times while tearing up) this broke me and made me cry tears of joy. This is all we wanted. I’m a big critic of 343, and after playing the last test flight i can happily say, halo is back.

Only trailer to ever get me so excited that I almost teared up. Growing up with Halo, and after half my life of the series just falling further and further, to have trailers all of the sudden that just captured everything about Halo that made me love it in the first place, it was unreal and something I most likely will never feel again. Certainly not after a lot of this hype dying off quickly after release. I love Infinite but it was a disappointment in a lot of ways. Mostly issues with multiplayer, I'm a PVE guy anyway but still. Infinite's state on release killed any possibility of me feeling like this for any game other than probably another Half Life or Portal game.

I'm one of the people who actually didn't completely hate Halo 4 and 5 but seeing this trailer, I know what I've been missing all these years. I know why I don't have more than a hundred hours on both Halo 4 and 5 combined. It's because of the music. The graphics partially but mostly the music. Hearing these old familiar soundtracks, combined with old school graphics in a new jacket. It fills me with hope.
