I Absolutely Love the Halo Show, watched each episode Several Times, and all 9 Episodes this weeked! Excellent Show! And yes, I've beaten all Halo Games on Legendary, including Halo Wars 1 & 2!

While I do appreciate the approach they took with analyzing the lore of the Halo universe, I feel their attempt at a new story with Halo in a different light was very short sighted and left a lot to be desired. I’ve been a fan of Halo since I was a kid and I gave the TV show a fair chance knowing the canon was a different story (honestly I was excited by the fact it was going to be a story I haven’t seen yet), and I watched the entire series and I was very disappointed with what they came up with. I felt a lot of the plot did not tell a great story and a lot of the elements from the original story were simply not there or they were grossly misinterpreted. I wish they took more time analyze the themes of the games and the books when making the show because ignoring the source material in those aspects did not do the TV series any service, in my opinion. As someone who has loved Halo’s story for a very long time, I felt this first season was not well done in that aspect and I hope they give that some serious reconsideration when making season 2. I’ll still watch season 2, but I hope the creative team behind this show understands the dismay of the fans and hopefully changes things so the show reflects the better elements of why everyone fell in love with Halo in the first place.
