Coming back to this since Halo Infinite Clonely Bear. After reading the comics and listening to audiobooks of Halo, the ending of Homecoming was much sadder. The Spartan at the end who found Daisy dead wasn’t a stranger. He pretty much witnessed the death of his (adopted) sister; since all of them were kidnapped children that grew up together. Sad he couldn’t stay longer to mourn the death of a sibling and had to get back to the battlefield. Thank you for reading and sorry for the long rant. May Spartan 023 Daisy find peace.

@@Dgutier01was most likely the Chief himself. Interestingly enough, there were Spartans above him technically. Noble 6 was a Lieutenant which is higher than a Master Chief…but we all know Chief is the one that all listen to when it comes down to it.

Daisy would appear again as a supporting character in Silent Storm. This was the same girl that laughed and joked around with John and her fellow Spartans. She always stood up against higher authority when her fellow Spartans were threatened. She was more than a friend to John, she was his family.

Viendo esto, creo que para que la comunidad y fans conozcan más acerca del lore, deberían hacer alguna serie animada de Halo en la que cuenten las historias de las novelas y así atraer a más personas a esta hermosa saga. Sin duda sería lo mejor que podría hacer Microsoft para revivir Halo y atraer a más personas. Además de eso, nos daría más información de historias y lore de las novelas de las que no muchas personas conocen. Ojalá en algún futuro no muy lejano se llegue a cumplir lo que estoy diciendo

if only they dropped surprise missions like this in the games. As a marine or as a spartan. Imagine you're there taking out AA and Orbital Batteries You're fighting towards that objective with blue team (still in mk IV so advance is slow). Fighting hard, maybe even winning. As there are multiple halo games with Chief, you're relaxed that they'd survive. Suddenly you hear garbled comms coming through, bit by bit. Someone asking for assistance or reinforcements. Your team punches through covenant defense line after defense line and suddenly the signal is clearer. It's Spartan 023 asking for assistance. Imagine the surprise on the players who watched halo legends. It'd be like a sucker punch lmao. It becomes obvious in the comms that the reception is one sided, anything blue team leader says isn't being answered or acknowledged. "Respond!" you hear him say, "Do you copy? Respond!" Spartan 117 leader of blue team orders the rest of the team to push through to the AA and Orbital batteries as it is crucial that they be taken out. He leaps from cover to cover being slowed by suppressing fire by panicking covenant defenders at witnessing the sudden burst of speed, they subsequently get taken out by a spartan 053 with extreme accuracy and speed, a move that seemed rehearsed to masterful degree. "I have eyes on objective" you hear Spartan 117 as you, some of the covenant are start fleeing. "They're afraid!" one of the soldiers say outloud. As your team finally sets bombs that'd destroy these batteries. (Let's make it more dire and let the demo guy get killed and one or two guys decide to stay to blow up the bombs). With the objective complete here, you escape with the rest of blue team and the batteries are destroyed. Later on after you link up with Spartan 117 you see this scene play out in the distance, now understanding why Spartan 117 became silent (cartographer) after getting to his objective. It became apparent that the covenant forces started fleeing simply because the last of the survivors fleeing were already taken out. It becomes even clearer that the covenant wants no survivors when it came to humanity. If it were an even more sadistic writer, they'd be writing that Thel Vadam was also part of this theatre of war.

He basically washed out of the program if I remember correctly. He ended up joining the regular UNSC military while Daisy stayed in the Spartan program and survived the augmentations.

He was a Spartan. He just decided not to wear Mjolnir Armor and due so was dressed as a marine. But even without Armor, with all his augmentations and adoctrination he was still a Spartan.

This armor in lore at the time I believe was the MK 4 armor, no shields, frankly it was probably a little better then the SPI armor that the spartan III used that ONI sent with the express intent of them all dying and have not having to recover the armor
