I remember watching Halo Legends for the first time, and this song playing as the humans and Sangheili united to fight the flood. I was so pumped! The only criticism of the song i have is that it's too short. This cut makes it perfect.

That cloak, would've been Halo 4, even if it didn't, it would've foreshadow as Halo 5, after getting chased by Osiris, engaged in combat, with his visor partially cracked by Locke, affecting his right HUD yet it didn't stop him Losing so many things, properties, lives and everything to these "Guardians" that just arose out of nowhere.. Helpless to stop it even in the urban city area, scattered from his Blue Team... His reputation is now nothing more than a rogue Spartan that awoken these ancient AIs, who once saved the world being a pinnacle core of Humanity's last stand and countermeasure, now deemed a destroyer of everything. Nothing left.. But Well Enough Alone, searching in the desert, threw his empty shotgun that he just recently used after stumbling on some scavenged Human Weapon Tech. After for what time had passed, hoping to find an answer, he grew weary, the ground trembled and crumbled, stumbling into an awoken Guardian, yet its colour signified differently like it was in a different control to the others... Like it expected Chief, coming to seek it. Gripping Cortana's empty AI Chip, he resolved and faced it head on, unknowing if the Guardian being before him had been under control by some "unknown entity" or a programmed AI to destroy Humanity or were under the influence of another Covenant splinter factions' that he fiercefully fended off with his Shotgun and Assault Rifle just before his encounter with his title known as the "Demon" reminiscent of the Storm Covenant Faction he had faced during the trouble he had faced the Didact. John right at this moment made a choice, steeled himself for what's needed to be done, facing the Guardian. ===Termination=== This is how the story should have fcking went with this music and this fanart of what could've been an actual scene, not that clusterfck of what we have now of Halo 5

All I can imagine in my head while this is playing is a lot of marines defending their position with bombs dropping everywhere as the covenant charge in overwhelming numbers
