Honestly, it just mostly helps thicken the weathering mix and make it stick better. And I like to dust it on afterwards sometimes for extra effect. For some of my other customizations, I've mixed it with some baby powder then dusted it on to look like crushed concrete dust. I just like to experiment with a lot of different materials and applications. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!

I own this and had a very similar idea to this. I did see a red variant of this set at my local Walmart recently. I assume there is or will be a blue one as well.

I'd love to get another set sometime, but the only one I have seen was from Ross. Our local Walmart toy selection is truly pitiful and Target seems to be hit or miss with Halo toys.

Thank you for your concern. Yeah he's almost 9, so we always just play multiplayer and have fun driving around and smacking each other with hammers. Btw, I honestly have never understood the "M" rating for these games. I know there's a bit of blood spray, but they are primarily just good, clean fun. Also, I almost said "fuel cans" because something in my brain was telling me that these things definitely don't run on gas, but I figured "meh, people will get the idea - no one will get hung up on that"..... Thank you for proving me wrong. WORT WORT WORT
