Just saying, this mission takes close to 20 minutes to run thru perfeclty and get the 20k score, and you need to do it thrice... Thats 1 hour in just running thru the mission. You can do H3 Floodgate on Heroic with skulls like Fog and Famine and run thru the mission in 6 minutes while getting 20k

[Edit: I had been told that this is no longer viable] For the more casual players, this works on Normal with Catch and Fog, get over 30,000 every time

This is a lie. I ran it perfectly plus Famine on and I was shy 6,000. Do NOT do it on Normal.

You can do just fine with Catch and Famine, on Normal. And you'll barely notice any difference

I just do floodgate on heroic with like 7 skulls. Glad they changed it from 50,000 as that was a real pain.

Which skulls would you recommend?

@@MrMokroprase I personally went with catch, famine, fog, thunderstorm, tilt, and tough luck. Though tbh just go with the skulls you feel will be the most easy to handle.

I when it was fifty grand I wasn't going to do this technique because I feel like I would mess up too many times to get over 50,000, but now that it's drastically lower, I'm going to try this, thanks for the guides!

I'm really glad they set it down to 20g because unless you're doing co-op, or activate 6 skulls and play on Heroic, it was hard as hell to complete. But I admit, it did feel more rewarding since it was a test of skill and scoring

Or just do Halo 3 floodgate on normal with all skulls except iron and blind and you can complete it in under 10 minutes with having the BR and gravity hammer. I average 27,000 that way

Might as well just stick to the Floodgate mission. It's quicker and, despite being on Heroic and having quite a few skulls ons, it's pretty easy!

Would I still get the 20,000 points using the Acrophobia skull?

coastal highway and kikowani station are some good levels to rack up alot of points in Halo 3 ODST. In Halo 3 the level floodgate is also a really good level to use as well with some skulls and beating the par time.

the score tracker during the mission? when selecting the campaign level go to options and enabled scoring

I’ve seen people suggest using Floodgate since you can complete the level under the par time for the 3x multiplier and then would only need around 7000 points each playthru before the level ends

Lol I made this one back in July when I hadn't considered Floodgate yet until all the comments pointed it out as a good choice instead. XD It definitely is due for an updated one though I agree on that

Doesn't work for me anymore... The game caps the score at 17703 and when I kill an enemy it just gives me 0 points. Screw this stupid game it took me forever just to get 17k

If you go over the par time of the mission, you will start losing your score multiplier and all kills will be 0 points
