I'm in love. The scene just brings across chiefs strength, yet still keeps his agaility. Great work!

Ah something I’ve never seen anyone else do is time movements with the music, I like how some of the punches landed on the drum beat
@AxiologyStudios4 жыл бұрын
That's my favorite thing to do! Interestingly I always pick music after making the animation, so the fact it lines up is a combination of luck and more luck, lol

Oh my friggin god that was amazing! That behind the scenes was cool too, we got to see some of your tricks at making those awesome animations. And yes, use PLENTY of sticky tack lol.
@AxiologyStudios4 жыл бұрын
Animating without sticky tack is... Let's just say, "not ideal"
@JJTheSpartan_1174 жыл бұрын
@@AxiologyStudios rip cuz I have absolutely no sticky tack at all. It's really hard for me to animate because the figures fall over or are just too dang slippery. I don't have access to sticky tack where I live, I dont know where to find it. I look for it at Walmart, Target, Dollar general, everywhere, and I can't find any. And with this whole stay at home situation it's a lot more difficult. Someome told me to check out some place but I just cant go anywhere at the moment. So it's just a big fat *F* for me right now :/

Very good. I might have taken a frame with the fist under the chin for the uppercut as it seems to miss.
@AxiologyStudios4 жыл бұрын
There are a number of intentionally "bad" things in this animation, such as none of the hits truly landing, his waist overextends a mile, and he telegraphs his punch like it's a 30-second non-skippable advertisement for knuckle sandwhiches... 😂 Anyways... I noticed in 2D animations they can often get away with such things, so I tried applying that here!

wow looks amazing, but in a real fight you usually don't want to telegraph your attacks to your opponent or over extend joints because the opponent could counter and break your limbs. That spartan was lucky the elite didn't just grab.
@AxiologyStudios4 жыл бұрын
Yes! Exactly~~ Since this was a "behind the scenes", perhaps I should talked more about the animation itself. If you look closely at the slowed down animation, there are many individual pictures that also don't make sense, like his waist being completely broken, lol! The punch was telegraphed for the sake of the viewer easily understanding what happens, the same reason movie sword fights are often... Terrible. 😂
@AlexisGutierrezProductions4 жыл бұрын
Axiology Studios yeah A real fight is pretty pathetic looking, Gotta make it look good for the audience. Sorry I was being nitpicky, I was just redistributing the information I received from when I was in the military. Spartans are in the military too so I just assumed incorrectly.

Have you started working on a larger project or will you continue releasing these smaller clips? Not that there’s anything wrong with these short animations, the attention to detail is amazing.
@AxiologyStudios4 жыл бұрын
I'm writing some short stories and have one in the works (probably like a 5 minute animation if I had to guess). I started it a few months ago but got stuck early on. I'm restarting it today though... Also, it's probably quite different from what you might expect (SPOILER!!: I'm animating them as literal "toys").

Great work! If You don't mind me asking, what lighting do you use?
@AxiologyStudios4 жыл бұрын
Ask away, it's free of charge! But in this case, I don't have any specific lighting setup... I just use a desk lamp and position it around until I get the effect I want. My main tip is to simply always use lamps, never natural light. Natural lighting (while beautiful!) is unpredictable and changes from one second to the next. Always use a lamp in a dark room for maximum control. Hopefully that helps~~

@AxiologyStudios4 жыл бұрын
If you have a camera, I'd definitely suggest you use it! A phone works great to make some quick animations, but using a camera gives you much more control. Whether on a phone or using a camera, set it to >manual mode
