First time I played reach and I saw that noble was dying one by one, I was thinking "how cool would it be to have a last stand at the end of the game", and then there it was. Bungie was incredible.

A "ghost friendly" mode like this would've been a kickass but bittersweet alternate ending. Noble Six hallucinates his teammates at first out of missing them so much, imagining they're all right there with him. But he has to watch as they "die" and fade away one by one, representing Six's acceptance of reality and his old lone wolf ways. To me, that would make it even more gut-wrenching to see Six struggling, plagued by visions of fallen comrades but then missing them when they disappear, and ultimately leave him to face death alone.

Did anyone notice how on the first test, the sqaudmates died in a reversal way? First Emile died, who was the ylone that died before Noble Six Then Carter, who was the one to die before Emile. Then Kat, who was the one to die before Carter. And then Jorge who was the first to die on the team. Like this if you know what I mean.

I know it probably wasn't meant this way, but this is amazingly touching and, I want to say symbolic but I know that's not the word. it show how six could see the noble team, people who died before him so ultimately he could accomplish the mission, fight beside him one last time, the he watches as they die alongside him, and in the end he can accept his own death and die alone. this is amazing.

How this Happens?: Noble Team survives the earlier fates that might've taken their lives; The slipspace bomb that destroyed the Long Night of Solace wouldn't be detonated manually and kill Jorge and there was an extra Re-Entry pack, Kat's killer missed the shot and Kat sprinted to the elevator, Carter wasn't almost dead and the scarab didn't appear, Emille wasn't assassinated by the Zealots because Noble team was there to defend the LZ for Keyes and someone was covering Emille. For Noble Six, the package was delivered to the Autumn and when given the chance to get out of the planet, he and Noble Team decide to stay and cover (if it wasn't for this vid one person might've stayed via Noble 6) the Autumn, and Noble Team needs to survive on the planet. Instead, each member one by one gets killed because of the overwhelming Covenant forces who land near them and engage them. The last person to survive is Noble 6 and the part where his helmet is cracking, taking it off, yadda yadda yadda.

Dude. Don't take it so seriously, besides! It wouldn't shatter the glass, it would melt it. An when that "kinetic energy" you are talking SO scientifically about hits that glass, the force is applied equally to all the glass based on Newton's Laws of Motion, and it will all melt or not melt at all. i'm going tbh, Reach was a great game and Lone Wolf was quite interesting for Noble 6 having a heroic last stand but if Noble Team didn't die 1 by 1 and they all survived until the end and were left on Reach and making a heroic last stand against the overwhelming Covenant forces their deaths would have probably been more emotional and heroic.

On the heroic difficulty, they died in the opposite order they did in the game, first jun died( he didn't actually), then emile, then carter got caught with a sticky, the kat got exploded, then finally jorge died.

This is Great, you know the only surviving Spartan of Noble Team is Jun right and he helped create the Spartan IV program...they should introduce him in the next halo game at some point. We have people who believe Six is alive, well I wish that was the case but according to halos Wikipedia and waypoint six died by being overrun by covenant forces and was killed by an elites energy dagger...as the lone wolf mission Cleary shows

This could've been an alternate ending if: 1.The slipspace Bomb on the long night of solace worked 2. The elite marksman missed kat, or if kat still had her shield on 3. Jun doesn't escort Halsey to castle base 4. Carter shot the legs of the scarab so that noble team can board and disable it so that carter can eject from his pelican safely. 5. Emile used the mac cannon to destroy the phantom with the elite zealots that would eventually kill him

I watched a tutorial on how to make a hide out in that first building with armour lock in it. You can make a little fort with the boxes and the don't shoot you unless you shoot them(this works on LASO,legendary,heroic,normal and easy) so you could get this mod then make the fort and see if there ACTUALLY is a secret ending.

This got me imagining a shooter game with psychological horror elements. So you go through the campaign watching your buddies die one by one. Maybe something like this could be a secret final mission, a bittersweet, reaffirming ending where, yes, everyone dies. But no one dies alone.
