Good video. I have a tube mic which gets hot and needs to be hung upside down like most tube mics. Does the Aston halo allow for a way to hang a tube mic upside-down without using a boom arm? Thanks.

I will also buy this device. The difference is big, especially the sounddata is better for further process.

Hey mate. Thanks for the video. I was in two minds about this, but it seems to work. The main problem I can see is if you are going to video yourself simultaneously, for a YT video for example. No one is going to be able to see you. if you put it out of shot, the mic will be too far from you.

Heh. From the samples you provided I found it to not really help things. In fact it just made things sound muddier and more boomy without really reducing the reflections in my view. Thank you for this video. Saved me a load of money!

He's singing closer so proximity effect is evident. Also, less reflections will sound less bright. It's not that the filter makes things muffled, it's that the room reflections makes things bright.

I bought it and really it's nothing to write home about. It helps a bit, but still, it cannot work as a standalone device. You need to have your whole room adjusted. I was surprised that it seems to be empty inside. Seems like a card box covered with some material. Not worth the money, really.

Did you try using it in your closet. Did you find a solution?

@@ronjohnson7699 I've got it, had it well over a year or more and used it a lot. It feels like it does very little on its own in my living room, I have up foam on walls and ceiling and bass traps in corners in another smaller room, in that it stops the untreated side of the room sneaking in through the back of the mic, which much wouldn't get through that side anyway, so it's useful used like that I find. It still means all the pain in the ass of treating your room but not so much of it lol

Cool test, thank you. But I don't hear a big difference. =)
