This one might be tougher to incorporate, just a head's up. lol This isn't a mod based around SteamVR, just built with VR in mind. It's quite literally just a series of .map files as different builds, so the .zip folder download is roughly 2GB. This is 100% something that could be built *for*, but building it into CEVR would be bulky and require building out a backup managing program such as HMS, building a tool that could edit .map files on the fly as part of one tool. The thing that'd be great code addition would be swinging arms actually triggering running versus just doing it for immersion, so maybe i'll look into how easy it might be to code that myself as an extra project.

1:20 does this mean better driver ai? or are you controller the warthog from the passenger seat? I noticed how cool riding shotgun was in VR and was disappointed there's no way to do it effectively since it's singleplayer and driver ai is terrible

Driving it yourself! It's finicky though, so making sure you read the Readme is important. It works perfect in flat-screen, but playspace/roomscale messes with the camera/direction dynamics sometimes.

It's always been assumed by many of us that played Halo 1 that the physics engine was just buggy and that's why a ghost sneezing on you insta kills you, when in reality I dug into the game Tags and found that Bungie set the minimum damage for any vehicle touching you to the equivalent of over 3 tank shells hitting you directly.

Best thing would be to just follow the official guides honestly. For the Halo CEVR mod, just go step by step on the GitHub. For Movement Evolved, I included readme's for every step of the way per mod pack. No need to complicate it more than that. Lol

@TrevorAvrett Surprisingly not super simple lol that's why it's drivable from the side seat instead for now. If you hop into Halo 1 in the driver seat and rotate the camera you'll see that it doesn't rotate around the player, but instead around the center inside the engine. Changing that camera position involves some wild math with numbers like E-1.04687 for positional names that make no sense to me. And all of that entails me then doing it over 10 or 20 times for every conceivable camera position. The easiest method is if custom edition gets VR support honestly

The mod itself I'll never put behind a paywall, for sure. I have the Patreon setup for free members, but I'm not shy about that being for a few reasons. lol 1. I want people who want updates to get them in a way that they get notified if they want. 2. If anyone wants to support the time put into updating the mod, it's all on the same platform there. 3. Seeing what kind of audience is willing to stick around for modding/dev stuff on the side so I know how to split my time.
