Imagine a Halo Wars 3 for PC. I have never played the games personally, but i have watched hundreds of matches over the years, and one thing that really sells me is how the units still act like they do in the Halo series. Ragdoll physics, Warthogs drifting around and jumping ramps, the Scarab just ignoring terrain as it stomps about. It's a fairly unique experience.

Halo wars 2 is for me personally one of the very few RTS games that I just keep on playing. The reasons are: - It offers a LOT of replayability with the different leaders, leader power builds and playstyles/unit builds you can use, even with the small amount of maps - It is very forgiving to get into due to it's small amount of mechanics and intuitive base building. It's still playable with a mediocre APM - It has a pretty high skill ceiling due to all the different combinations you can do. - A friend of mine plays it and we enjoy playing together ;) --> not te be discounted. I'd say with these numbers it would have to mean that a lot of players stick around for a long, long time. This might mean it may be poorly marketed to the regular RTS crowd, or that the typical Halo crowd is not really into RTS's. I wouldn't know for sure. It would be great if there was a Halo wars 3 though, or perhaps expansions on this one with new leaders and maps!

I'm a gaymer to the core and hw2 has had the highest replayability bar none. I do think a big reason is a group of friends to play with but with damn near every game I've had a friend group, it has eventually died down. Not hw2 tho.

Honestly, if it were still being updated, with new content added, maybe swords of sanghelios as a DLC faction, it would probably be in the top 5 in my opinion🤷🏻‍♂️

Id pay for a hw2 dlc. Full price of a new game bro. Better have lots of new content even updating current leaders would be cool too. Battle pass I'll pay for as well to get emblems and nameplates. If Halo wars 3 had the ability to make your own leader would be dope. A full defensive brute like Pavium but more defense less offense, or a hardcore Jerome of infantry powers and spartan powers.

I've started playing Halo Wars 2 again because of your videos Ed, I used to be awful at it, never played tech 1, had no units to defend against rushes but since I started watching your videos I play a lot more and a lot better and I've gotten really good at ignoring Sean's backseat gaming 😂 Also that thumbnail from the car sales trailer for HW2 is awesome.

More factual info like this will hopefully force them to take a second look at it. Especially with 343 taking a backseat in development of halo titles, after they royally messed up their infinite project. They were the ones responsible for making the decision not to support it anymore. I remain ever hopeful that we will get a Halo Wars 3.

I used to get surveys for HW2 about how they could improve the game and what kept me playing. I enjoy the game and would always love more. I even still try to play HW1 at least a few times a month.

jesus, these dopes at 343 could easily add another hero or 2. Imagine a new Heretic leader, maybe more banished from halo infinite. I mean Sh*t the fact they just abandoned it is dumb. I hate 343 a lot they are a terrible company, this game could be so much bigger but they stopped support rly early. They could still give it the mcc treatment and re-vamp it/release new leaders. If they add flood into infinite (after season 5's flood spartan armors) like a flood based leader. Or even just more og unsc heros like blue team or maybe tartarus or a prophet or Halsey, or keys, its just wild to me how 343 has stomped on so much possibility or overlooked so much potential, its almost like 343 doesnt actually have a passion for the franchise.

I have been Watching Halo wars 2 for years, not often, but every couple month, I was not able to afford it, when I got a good laptop, I of course started with the games I really wanted first like MCC, then got Halo wars 1 2 years ago or so, leaved and was waiting for halo wars 2 to be cheaper, like 2 weeks ago I wanted to watch some halo wars 2 content and then said to myself "What if I can get a cheap key" then Bought one for like 12 dollars or so and now Im playing it like a Kid, I really love this one, Idk why they are not supporting it anymore or making it cheaper at least to get more people into the game because its hard to find people of my lvl "13" and I keep getting team or against lvl 85 or 95++ (which I have been doing good because I know what units counters the others more or less)

I have only played this on PC had no issues, and honestly its just plain unfair when playing against consoles. You get better unit control, and can react faster with better accuracy using leader powers.

Team Fortress was dead for God knows how long, and look at it. Stayed alive for so long, because it is skillbased and fun to play, and Lord Gaben ditched out an order and it recieved quite a heavy update. And a seal. So yeah, just because the developement and updates stopped coming, doesn't render game dead. The community decides when the game is dead. Unless unexpected server shutdown
