Can you do a video explaining how and why the galaxy which was devoid of any Forerunners Pre Halo 4 is now littered with Armigers, Knights, Prowlers etc... why haven’t we seen any of their interstellar ships besides The Mantles Approach? Are they just teleporting to all these worlds? Are they piggybacking on the Guardians? Did they all come from Requiem and New Phoenix? I hope there is a better explanation than 343 wanted to make new enemy types. Because if that’s the case, that’s a poor excuse and poor execution.

I've read a few books that have told me that the other shield worlds unoccupied by Forerunners were devoid of Prometheans. However at the beginning of Halo 4, Master Chief and Cortana discover Prometheans on Requiem. That happens to be the only forerunner construct that has a living forerunner inside. My theory is that the Didact started something that caused all of the Prometheans to go haywire after he was foolishly released by Master Chief in Halo 4. I mean, they were given the order to "Protect the Forerunners" from the Librarian before the activation of Halo.

Since the majority, if not all of his political rivals died in Halo 2, so Truth finally could drop his cool political facade, and now he was able to do whatever he wants and no one can replace him as Hierarch. Or he was just getting pissed at Chief for trying to spoil his plans for godhood. Or he was getting more and more impatient since his victory was near at hand.

I can answer this without even watching the video. Eons ago, before the founding of the Covenant, the San'shyuum lived on their home world. Even then, they worshipped Forerunner Tech, but there were 2 schools of thought. Those who sought to revere and never desecrate forerunner sites, and those who sought to learn from the forerunners. This lead to war. Those who learned, obviously won with their massive lead in tech. Leaving their former bretheren to rot on their then doomed world. (I forget what exactly destroyed the planet, but I'm pretty sure it was sonething like a solar flare.) Anyway, a few hundred years pass as the san'shyuum rely more and more on the technology to do things for them. In this period they encounter the Sangheili, who had the same thought process as the olden members of their species. A short war is fought, and if it were putely a ground war, the Sangheili woulf have won, but the San'shyuum had spacecraft and thus relied almost purely on tech for this combat. Devestating the Sangheili, but they offered to guide them with their knowledge of Forerunner Tech in return for their immense physical prowess. tl;dr, the prophets were couch potatoes for so gods damned long that they can't actually fight anymore. Think the people from Wall-e, but thousands of generations of that kind of activity and tech reliance.

This’s what he Bestiarum for Halo 3 said about the San’Shyuum, it said: “that there are less than 1,000 San'Shyuum left in the universe after High Charity was consumed by the Flood, killing the majority of the San'Shyuum population (approx. 20 million).” As few as there would be by 2558 (those that also survived the Sangheili’s wraith from the Great Schism), it would make sense to me if they surrendered to Cortana, just to keep from going extinct.

Actually Installation 05 is the ring we see in Halo 2. Halo CE ring is Installation 04 . Also Prelates were only used during the Great Schism when the Flood attacked High Charity. Actually not all of them are bad. Some of them are quite decent. The Prophet of Inner Conviction was Prophet during the War of Beginnings, and he lived to see the beginning of the Covenant. The High Prophet of Excellent Redolence has blackmailed him into taking female San'shyuum from Janjur Qom and steal Forerunner Artifacts from the Ancient San'shyuum . During the expedition, the ship was damaged, and Inner Conviction decided to save the female San'shyuums instead of the Forerunner Artifact. The Prophet of Clarity was the descendant of the Prophet of Inner Conviction, he had a close relationship with the Sangheili, even befriending some of them. Also he was the secondary administrator of the High Prophet of Truth. Once, he spied on Truth's meetings with Tartarus and other San'shyuum who wanted to replace the Sangheili. After the meeting, Clarity warned some of his Sangheili friends about the Great Schism before it even started. During the Schism, he was taken by his superior the Prophet of Exquisite Devotion, who forced him to watch as he slowly and painfully kills a Sangheili High Councilour with a gravity device. After that Exquisite Devotion forced Clarity to do the same thing, but Clarity objected and he was thrown into the room to be executed. However, Clarity was saved by his Sangheili friends and escaped High Charity and discovered the Ussans ( a colony of the 1st Sangheili who rebelled against the Covenant and survived ) and formed a friendship with them. The High Prophetess of Obligation was a beloved Hierarch, and did her job splendidly. However due to her pregneancy she was unable to do her work. Unfortantley she was blackmailed by the Minister of Fortitude, the San'shyuum who will be later known as the High Prophet of Truth. The High Prophet of Tolerance was a fellow Hierarch of the High Prophetess of Obligation. He was one of the San'shyuum politican junior staffers who spoke out for the Unggoy during the time when Kig-yar Shipmasters tried to poison the Unggoy. After he became Hierarch, he too was a beloved Hierarch and truthfully to his name, he tolerantly solved problems in the Covenant. The High Prophet of Mercy. He was a former High Councilour in the Covenant High Council, however after seeing the harsh and disguisting political infighting he quit politics and became the Philologist of the Forerunner Dreadnought in High Charity. After the Minister of Fortitude ( Truth ) and the Vice Minister of Tranquility ( Regret ) asked him for the Oracle's ( Mendicant Bias ) blessing, the Oracle awakened and told them that Covenant religion for the most part is bullshit and Humanity are the true Reclaimers. After that the Philologist tried to talk off Fortitude from ordering the extinction of Humanity as Hierarch, he was shut down by Fortitude and he too became a Hierarch just to be shut down from telling anyone the secret. #MercyDidNothingWrong

I think halo is a good example of how simple things like race and religion can cause a long series of unfortunate events. I don't mean to bring any kind of politics into the gaming side of youtube, but if we keep on living in the past, and letting these things divide us, it'll be an endless cycle of who did this? who did that? and eventually something regrettable happens. Halo is very xeno-political in nature in the background of the lore, it something that Halo needs to explore deeper that what causes a said conflict. It does reflect ours throughout our history.

They could be special enemies that inspired the rest of their allies around them to fight and maybe give them special shields or something and when killed the rest of the enemies would become disoriented and would be easier to kill

Imagine a halo game where you get to play as a prelet and have to aid a skeleton crew of prophets in finding their old home world while having the prelet and other prophets come to terms with the past and accept the fact that they were wrong. I feel like that would be so fucking cool, and they can easily make it so that the antagonists in the game would be bounty hunters from the sangheli home world or a slew of other enemies theyd bump into while looking for a place to call home like say a ship full of jackal and skirmisher pirates. I feel like a game like that would be really cool and would have a very interesting story

Another prophet boss would be amazing! I've only played through halo2 all the way once, but i loved that fight. But what if this time instead of being slow and just floating around with a big ass gun, it was a single prophet(just saying prophet because there scientific name is long) that went into hiding on the only thing he knew, Halo and was stranded there with just himself and forrunner tech. Made himself fast and nimble suit to avoid predictors and the flood on the ring(if there are any loose) so if tge game is kinda free roam we'd encounter a fast moving shadow that would do sneek attacks on us since it is physically weak. Dodging in and out of sight doing little amounts of damage at a time. I think tgat would be a fun fight. Maybe it could take place in a room that is also a generator that runs the ring so that the energy would overload our shields, that the prophet lours us to to make it so were on more even ground, and wed be able to take a few hits before having to play it safe as it Dodge's and rolls from cover to cover in a dark room reciting covenant religious gibberish. It would toy with us but at 5he same time be in fear of you so it would pray. Idk it was a long rant in a bad format, but if you read all the way through feel free to make a comment on it. You forgot about the San'Shyuum Special Forces, that is essentially the covenant version of a Spartan, but never really got Action against Spartans in the book due to the Great Schism that collapsed the Covenant. Also to note that from what the book portrayed one of them on par with a Well Trained High Ranked Elite or even stronger to some extent due to a Drug they can consume mid battle for a temp increase in abilities

Its not hard to see them making a stand with grav chairs, power suits and lanky tanks. its , particularly easy if they pick a low gravity world. Their breeding problem is strange. With all the advanced technology they did not fix it. A world where a rogue faction of the San'Shyuum exist in numbers having cracked the problem in away the rest rejected. This would be and interesting twist. A halo is a big place with lots of space to hide.

Prophets were supposed to be unique as their high class and very distinctively ornamentalized based on their heritage, their rank, and their accomplishments. In the concept every prophet was supposed to have a unique crown. However technology limitations at the time of HAL0 2 were considerable as even the hardware of the classic XB0X was pushed to the limits. One piece of technology that Bungiee would have loved was procedural generation where they would be able to ensure that in gameplay no two prophets are ever alike. Now if they could do this in infinity I could see some covenant remnant prophets be generated in such a manner so each prophet that is fought would be unique to that firefight or campaign.

Disappointed you didn't mention about the San Shyuum Prelates, the only Covenant Special Forces capable of taking Spartan IIs decently in a fair fight.

There wouldn't be any San'Shyuum left on Their Homeworld because it no longer exists. The Star It orbited went Supernova, thus destroying it.
