There absolutely was a 3rd party! He was really cruel during the past 2 years. He ghosted, breadcrumbed, he was extremely narcissistic. I told him he needs to get some professional help before we work things out. But I finally gave up and let him go over a month ago. I feel he has low self esteem and he has childhood trauma and if he gets help we can work things out. If not I'm in therapy about him and the way he treated me and I'm growing.
