What a nice view opening up the curtains on the second day, Wow even better the hike up with the doggy guide, I have been to Halong Bay a few times but not on that hike, reminiscence of Palawan Philippines, Ho Ahn, I love that quaint little town, picturesque with boutique shop, enjoy there, have a safe journey and be safe.

Hi Stephanie, you picked a relatively warm time to visit Vietnam. Temperatures are around 78-90 F with 65-90% Humidity in Ha Long, VN. During Tet, late January to early February is a beautiful time to see Vietnam - Lunar New Year (Weather is mild). Stay hydrated. Ga - Chicken, Bo - Beef, Heo - Pork, Com - Rice, Banh Mi - Bread...
