I love how old songs are coming back into favor since the show came out. This animation is wonderful! Especially that the confident voice in the song of the "old Lucifer" perfectly fits the portrayal of the "new" one from the series.

I don't think that he dislikes the idea of redemption, I think he just doesn't think its POSSIBLE. He says in the show that "I don't know how much you can realistically expect from them" and that he doesn't want her to feel hurt when it doesn't work due to how much he thinks a soul would have to DO to be redeemed. Spoiler!! Though, it would be pretty funny if Lilith was redeemed and that's why she's in heaven 😂

I cackled when all of the other characters had their sins mentioned, but Nifty's was just, "obsessively cleaning." Nothing about the stabbing, just the cleaning. I guess that is what Lucifer would think of since the first thing she said to him was, "HELLO. I CLEAN!"

Alternate timeline where Lucifer went in episode 1 to the meeting with Charlie and he went with her to the second instead of Vaggy but didn't have that deep heart to heart from the OG episode 5. He still went but Charlie was barely able to convince him to let her talk to heaven, it was just adam again though- that's the vibe I'm getting that sort of Alternate universe.

I can already see the AU for this kind of vibe, Lucifer knows or has been lead to believe Lilith is dead (as opposed to missing or just in heaven) and now rather than just depressed he's beyond pissed. So he cannot fathom the idea of redemption being accepted because they won't accept it from him or his beloved so any angel that comes down to hell and goes for his daughter well...no halos in hell

You got Lucifers power perfectly. Yes even tho he was cast out of Heaven he still posses the power, skills, and abilities that he had as the Second in Command of Heaven and Highest Ranked Seraphim (and Seraphim is the highest Angelic rank). The only person who can defeat him is his father God, Michael only beat him that ONE time cause Michael called for dads help but still only had the power to cast out but not kill Lucifer.

My favorite Au/ Theroy is that Alastor is also a fallen angel. The reason Adam doesn't know Alastor is that he was maybe sent to earth by then as a punishment to die in a cruel way and be banished to hell, or before he died he repented and went to heaven and was part of the extermination team, but something so brutal was done to him that heaven wiped everyone's minds of his existence. If not people would see Hevean just like hell since they did something really bad to him.
