I see so many people constantly trying to write her off as personifying the "typical brainless pop star" trope, but Halsey is so much more dynamic than anyone could imagine. In just 5 minutes, she shows how much thought, passion, and purpose she puts into her art. Everything has symbolism and meaning and the intent to send a message of positivity.
