I am having trouble at the center, where you are conecting the 2 cups.

Carly Trew You start two stitches away from the centre stitch of the cup. Slip stitch into the first stitch your connecting (second from the centre) then chain one for the middle stitch and slip stitch into the same stitch in the second cup as u did for the first. Instead of chaining one and turning you turn and slip stitch into the next stitch toward the centre then put a sc into the chain space which is connecting the cups now and slip stitch into the same spot on the other cup. Pretty much instead of chaining and turning you slip stitch into the next stitch towards the centre to create your next row/attach cups. You continue until the centre stitch and 2 on either side of it are slip stitched and crocheted together. Hope this helps and you can understand it I don’t write or design patterns or anything.

@@imanim1698 you’re welcome! it’s actually my fiancés account ( my names Holly) but super glad I could help🤗 I remember making this and having to slow down and watch it thru to understand. I made mine before pandemic times and wore it out many times including to VELD (an outdoor music festival) and have gotten tons of compliments so much that people ask where I got it and want me to make them one or learn crochet when told I made it, and for all those reasons and the fact that once you figure it out it’s not super difficult makes it still one of my favorite projects that I’ve gotten the most wear out of!

When you are doing the top part, what do you mean by double-crocheting the last two together (on the first row)? It keeps coming out uneven for me because i have no clue what u mean by that lol

it means in the last 2 stitches don't chain one, do two just like we did at the start without chaining 1

not to be rude, i like your videos except for the music... it's louder than your voice, and so when you aren't talking, it's blaring through my speaker and i have to turn down, but when you speak, i have to turn up. can you consider going without in future videos? btw, this helped me so much with the top i'm making for my daughter. thanks for sharing it. :)
