Flott bruremarsj (musikk, trad fra Lødingen etter Susanne Lundeng, tekst Halvdan Sivertsen). Fra en konsert i Bodø.

I actually have friends, who have gotten married to this bridal march. ... Up to several times, really, but... A strong and good bridal march! Bridal march from Lødingen.

@Kvakkus123 PART 5 of 6 Oh, we don't know the way It is easy to get lost And we are so small Are so small sometimes And life is so grand And fortune is fragile Like a flower And it can wither It can break But love it is a root That can live If the flower dies (literally: 'breaks', but more in the 'is destroyed' sense of the word) The moments, take them with you Happiness we won Deep in the darkness Is all the good that we found All the good that we found

@Kvakkus123 PART 2 of 6 It's o lovely to see that people get married all the time, and it's wonderful, and it... and have children... And THAT'S the way it should be! I think it's wonderful. You'll get a bridal march here, that i sincredibly beautiful. Bridal march from Lødingen, which I've learned from Susanne Lundeng, the violinist. The lyrics are just as good. The lyrics are incredibly good. They are written by one of our very... I wrote the lyrics myself. It is.. quite.. quite.. alright.

@sihaso Hi. I want to point out that you missed an important piece of poetry here. You translated "Vi får lov av livet å leve i lag" to "Because we get to stay and live together", more accurately it translates to: "we are allowed by life to live together"

@RensStella - I didn't know you understood Norwegian RensStella, although probably with some assistance from Babelfish :-) It's a good idea to say something about the video in English as well. It certainly is one of the most beautiful bridal marches I know. And it's from the same region in Norway where I'm born and bred, and living. I wish someone could translate the lyrics to English, because Halvdan's lyrics is so nice..... Anyone ?

@Kvakkus123 PART 4 of 6 First you said 'no' Then you said 'yes' Then you said 'darling of mine' (literally: 'my boyfriend'/'girlfriend') And I stand a dressed up man And you are silky fine And the bridal march goes on The bridal march goes on It is our's today Beause we get to stay and live together. Synd at så mange brudepar snubler over denne og vil ha den i bryllupet sitt. Det finnes mye BRA musikk man kan velge i stedet.
