It is summer & It is school vacation time! A perfect time to plan getaways from your routines. We planned this small trip to Mahabalewar on the first day of Raahinya's summer vacation.
Mahabaleshwar is just 150 km away from Pune and a perfect place to plan your small trips/ weekend getaways. Tough there are various places to visit there, we decided to keep our list short to avoid travel and summer fatigue.

Yes, it is a pure veg place. Just to add, there are better and cheaper options within 500m distance from the hotel. Restaurant Poonam in particular is a good veg restaurant & Sher-E-Punjab for non veg. Lunch and Dinner at Dreamland hotel is a bit expensive. Breakfast is usually included in the package and offers a good variety.

Why does your husband speak to Raahinya in Hindi? That's disappointing. Atleast he should speak to him in Marathi. After all, Marathi is his father tongue. He anyway speaks Hindi with you. Looks like he must mot be knowing to speak Marathi at all!! 😟 Actually, by now, you should have learnt to speak Marathi too. In our house, my bhabhi is a Maharashtrian. But nobody can make out the way she speaks Kutchchi, much better than Kutchchis. Just an observation.
