How long can you run on that 18ah SLA?

Like everything ham related ... it depends. The radio can be set to 5w, 10, 25 or 75. 25w seems to be the sweet spot for power and longevity. About 4 hours on a 40% duty cycle.

danpass12 I sooooo dig that kit! I'm thinking I'm going to HAVE to build one for my Yaesu FT-8900R. Did you ever get around to shooting a Part 2 video? I'd LOVE to see the finished product! I'm not plugging my channel; but take a look at mine. I used cutting boards for shelves in my HF station-in-a-box!
