I was convinced this was a park I needed to visit when I saw Chad’s Vlog with the Togo Enterprise thing. The park looks so charming and the setting is awesome so definitely I’ll need to check out.

Went there many years ago when they still had the Batflyer. I remember thinking it was pretty cool for such a small, out of the way park.

Visited the area earlier this year, and actually stayed just a few kilometers from the park. Only problem though: I stayed right across the lake, and without a car there's just no way to conveniently get there. So close yet so far away...

Started work on a Japan trip plan recently and was gonna skip this park compared to some others until, I realized Takeshi Yanase (of Anpanman fame) designed all the mascots for the park and now it’s back on my planning sheet hahaha

When you finally release your Tokyo DisneySea review, please comment on whether or not you think it or Europa Park is the best theme park (in terms of theming, not coaster collections). Unless of course you think another park is the best themed park, in which case please comment on that as well.

That ride kinda reminds me of a longer version of Viper at Great Adventure before it got demolished back in the early 2000’s. But I’m sure this was much better since Viper was really jerky and short.

After watching a couple of Coney Islands videos I appreciate Gröna Lund more. Don't know if the size is comparable but it seems like C I could really use some landscaping and decorations. It looks like those temporary/touring tivolies they put up on a parking lot for some local festivities. Like in New York! They should have enough visitors to be able to afford some plants... (Haven't visited myself though). The hot dogs looked nice. Sorry for commenting on another park, I just thought they could be compared being boardwalk parks by the sea in a city. And then one might have expected NY to beat little Stockholm.

Out of curiosity, when the ride-op asked if you wanted to go full speed or slow on Mega Coaster, was he speaking Japanese or English? I've always had interest in visiting Japan's parks but I'm always worried about the potential language barrier.
@CoasterStudios4 жыл бұрын
BlueDragon992 it was Japanese, but he knew one or two words in English, so he threw in the word ‘slow’ and ‘fast.’ I wouldn’t be too concerned over the language barrier- it wasn’t a huge issue for us. If it really concerns you, just know apps like google translate make things a lot easier.

The cable lift on El Toro is actually capable of doing this same thing.. they can make it not slow down at it crests the top and that causes a faster rounding of the corner and crazier airtime on the first drop.. rest of ride didn’t feel any different though..

@SerperiorFox4 жыл бұрын
big apple coaster is the same model and viper at six flags great adventure so I don't think all of them are smooth
@Rollermonkey14 жыл бұрын
Most any Togo built outside the US is plenty smooth. I honestly think someone made significant conversion errors, in the tolerances if not elsewhere, when fabricating the U.S. examples in Imperial measurements.

@@Rollermonkey1 TOGO International definitely didn't have the quality of TOGO Japan. I guess because the Cincinnati Ohio office (TOGO International) didn't have the good designers that TOGO Japan had

What’s on the other side of the gondola? Just a look out point or the park is split into two?
@CoasterStudios4 жыл бұрын
Brandon it’s mainly a look at point. I remember there was also some sort of stage there for performances of some sort, but I believe it was an upcharge to attend. Most people were over there just for the observation deck.
