Most flexicaps are disguised mega caps...like parag Parikh, HDFC , ICICI all are large cap funds in the name of flexicaps. Also multicaps have a problem. If One fundmanager manages the fund he/she will not be an expert in all 3 categories. Hence the chances of stockpicking going wrong is higher. So the best thing is, do research on your own and create a portfolio of all 3 caps mid small and large because you get specialist fund managers of each cap.
