I wonder if Hamartia could also apply to not only the concrete example of Achille’s heel at the time but also the concept and symbol of it for us now. I’d argue that it is not necessarily a flaw in virtue (since it is not a character flaw but a biological one), but a flawed action (because he shares the fact of his flaw) that leads to his demise. 🤔
