Hamas' Lebanon Leader Killed In "First" Israeli Strike On Beirut Centre, "120 Hezbollah Sites" Hit

Palestinian armed group Hamas said its leader in Lebanon has been killed in an airstrike in the southern part of the country. "Fatah Sharif Abu al-Amine, the leader of Hamas…” was killed in an airstrike on his "home in the Al-Bass camp in south Lebanon", the group said. Hamas said Abu al-Amine was killed with his wife, son and daughter in a "terrorist and criminal assassination". This came hours after the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine or PFLP said three of its members were killed in an Israeli attack on Kola in Beirut. The PFLP is another militant group taking part in the fight against Israel and its military wing, known as the Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, is reportedly active in Gaza. Israel bombed the Kola area of Beirut in its first attack on the heart of the Lebanese capital, outside of the southern suburbs on September 30.
